As soon as she started dancing I got chills and couldn't stop crying. I was born with bi-lateral club feet. Just about got my left foot amputated when I was 6. I have had 17 operations. She inspired me as I want to one day learn how to dance. My ankles and toes dont move so to see her moving and dancing like that truly inspired me. Please forward this comment to her somehow. Also Ellen you rock and are a beautiful soul.

I watched the Amy Purdy interview yesterday & i smiled & cried. I too contracted pneumococcal meningitis 4 years ago & was facing death & my organs were shutting down & had septicaemia & kidney failure. In a coma for 12 days & 2 months later I had both arms amputated & both legs amputated the following month. It has been quite tough & learning to walk on prosthetics & learning how to use prosthetic arms. I have an amazing husband, a great family & wonderful friends who have supported me from day one. I was 59 years old & planning our travels around Australia.
Thank you for sharing Amy's inspirational story. She's amazing dancing on those 'legs' Thank you Ellen for what you do to change peoples' lives.

Today's show really touched me because my 2 month old grandson just had Bacterial spinal Meningitis. We have been really lucky and he will be coming home tomorrow after 21 days in the hospital. It was very scary because of all that could have happened. Seeing what Amy has been through and her determination and strength to Live her life to the fullest is very inspiring and gives others hope.
Thank you Ellen for all you do and how you help and inspire so many. Love your show

Greetings to you Ellen and company. I just want to wish you the best for a successful week. I know with God, all will go well as your guest line up is amazingly stupendous. Although I am 59 years old,I can still salivate over sexy Derek Hough, of him we can never get enough.
By the way does anybody read these comments? I know it is not humanly possible for Ellen to read all these comments, but I hope there is a staff member whose responsibility it is to read them and pass on the greetings to Ellen, when necessary.
Love to all : DawnLori Selman.
