Tastes AMAZING, buuut...is it worth it?
By Allan A. Delmare on April 28, 2012
Size Name: 16-Ounce Amazon Verified Purchase
PROS: this product TASTES and FEELS like REAL peanut butter. I would pay double...if I could deal with the cons:

CONS: Gas. Horrible, horrible gas. And not just me - everyone who I know who has tried it experienced mind-blowing flatulence within 36 hours. And not just "bad" gas - we're talking about the kind you wish you could summon when the cop leans into your window and says "license and registration?"

I wish I could continue to use this product...but I can't even stand MYSELF the next day, and seriously, that's bad: everyone usually loves their own brand!

This is my FAVORITE review on Amazon. It is for a Bic Pen made just for women in girlie colors and "fit" for a small hand....funny enough but here is what someone wrote about it as a review:

5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY!, August 24, 2012
By
Tracy Hamilton "Tracy Hamilton"
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
Someone has answered my gentle prayers and FINALLY designed a pen that I can use all month long! I use it when I'm swimming, riding a horse, walking on the beach and doing yoga. It's comfortable, leak-proof, non-slip and it makes me feel so feminine and pretty! Since I've begun using these pens, men have found me more attractive and approchable. It has given me soft skin and manageable hair and it has really given me the self-esteem I needed to start a book club and flirt with the bag-boy at my local market. My drawings of kittens and ponies have improved, and now that I'm writing my last name hyphenated with the Robert Pattinson's last name, I really believe he may some day marry me! I'm positively giddy. Those smart men in marketing have come up with a pen that my lady parts can really identify with.

Where has this pen been all my life???

This is an interesting style of writing, a copulation of emails back and forth. The descriptives make the book. Very good.

5.0 out of 5 stars IT SUCKS BOOGIES & catches them in a tube to eat later, December 2, 2010
By Moobs (New York, NY) - See all my reviews
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Nosefrida The Snotsucker Nasal Aspirator (Baby Product)
my wife has tiny nostrils. i can't fit any of my fingers in her nose...it's amazing she can breathe through her nose at all. consequently, our son is also lacking in the nostril-diameter department. he gets boogies...he can't breathe very well...he gets upset. it's been like that since he was born, whenever that was...recently. i forget, but i digress. we came home from the hospital with a pretty decent nose-sucking bulb...it did a reasonably OK job of sucking out boogers...and was reasonably firm and springy. but then our dog ate it. so, i tried to find a replacement. not all bulbs are created equal, i soon found out. some were too hard to squeeze and didn't spring back quickly enough. others were too soft to suck anything out and just sat there, mocking me. i tried at least four different replacement bulbs, none of which were as good as the one from the hospital. we even tried a fancy battery powered nose vacuum that made a whirring sound but produced nary a single lump of green gold. while ordering the various, useless bulbs i also ordered this thing - the nosefrida - on a whim thinking i was probably wasting $13.

BOY WAS I WRONG.

this thing works. it sucks boogers out of noses. it even stores them in a little tube to eat later. or, you can just wash them out in the sink. anyway...it works better than any of the other things we tried...and we tried pretty much everything. there's a technique to it:

- suck in quick short bursts with your mouth muscles first...to loosen things up
- then, suck in long hoover-style bursts to get those boogies out
- if the boogies get stuck near the surface, try pulling the end of the thing out a little mid-suck a few times
- use a tissue or q-tip to get any nose goblins that are loitering anywhere accessible
- repeat

if i was a professional booger sucker...and it was my job to suck the snot out of noses 8 hours a day, i would insist on using this thing. but i would want a longer tube, and a holster.

5.0 out of 5 stars BICs for Chicks!, December 26, 2013
By Nicole Scott Smith (Missouri-USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
Thank you, BIC! Finally, I pen that I don't have to click to use. I cannot tell you how many times that I have tried to write a check for groceries only to be embarrassed that I couldn't operate the pen given to me by the cashier. I have tried to remember to bring my own pen but sometimes I forget. If it is a female cashier, we just stare blankly at each other. It is so embarrassing to have to leave the store empty-handed. If I could remember a 4-digit PIN, I would use a debit card but as a woman, this simply isn't an option. I will admit that removing the cap was complicated at first. Then my husband told me to think of it as a lipstick or a cleaning product bottle and WOW! It was so easy! I would recommend this product to anyone who struggles with complicated Man Pens.

UPDATE: I keep losing the caps. These pens dry out fast without the caps. My family is slowly starving, as I cannot provide them with food from the grocery store. Please keep us in your thoughts during this trying time. I am sooo disappointed. :(

UPDATE: I was sitting on the curb outside the store-sobbing. With no working pen to write checks and the inability to use the green paper my husband trades for goods and services, my children had gone without milk for weeks. I was at my wits end. A kind man took pity on me and showed me that you can remove the cap of the BIC Cristal and then place it on the opposite end for storage while I write checks! No more losing the cap and no more rickets for my family! BIC,I cannot believe that I am seeing this technology in my lifetime. We live in amazing times!

Decent hangers... oddly sized, April 1, 2011
By John L. Rudenauer "The Cobra Commander" (BOS, MA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME) Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Honey-Can-Do HNGZ01523 Light-Weight Plastic Hangers, 60-Pack, White (Kitchen)
plainly put, these will get the job done, and they are cheap... but they are NOT the "normal size" they are not as tall, and therefore the clothes or jackets... or neighbors skinned cat (hey you hang what you want in your closet, just don't tell the neighbor about mittens), all hang slightly higher. Not only that but they are about 2 inches narrower than normal sized hangers too.

These are not "child" sized though, because they are bigger than that. It's strange, but they seem to be made for a size of person that doesn't exist.
