Hi. my name is loraina pasley. i want to share our story with yall. I am from Franklin County, VA. I am married to my husband 7 years now. We had a beautiful baby girl april 15, 2008. We named her Daisy Renee. She is now 5. At age 9 months daisy had nose surgery that led to us noticing she was having siezure like activity. The doctor kept saying it was only acid reflux. Less than a month after her 1st birthday she was hospitalized for siezures. Come to find out she had a brain tumor. So in August 2009 she had brain surgery, which they removed a 50 cent piece size of her brain. Found out in Nov 2009 that the tumor was 70% malignant and 30% binine. Meaning a very aggressive tumor. In 2010 we were told that we have 90 days to get out of our home because it was being forclosed on because with me having to miss so much work, we couldnt keep up with the morgage. So we moved into a trailor park and are renting. In may 2011 they called from a mri results and said that daisy had a suspicious area they wanted to watch. So they watched it grow for several months. And they believed in Feb that it needed to be treated or removed. So we decided since she was a very active child to do treatment. She got one treatment of gamma knife radiation. The very first child recorded child to recieve this treatment. Her tumor has been stable over a year now. She also has a dianosis of autism, a rare chromosome disorder, sensory processing issues. We go oct 28 of this year to have a follow up mri. Wed love to have you contact us. id love to share her pix and our story. thanks.
