ok I have spend an hour trying to get entered for the 12 days contests and it just keeps sending me to different pages
I tried to tell this on another page but I didn't have a picture to add. This year started out with my 34 yr old son falling, due to wrong bi-polar meds and having a severe head injury, out of state. He is better but not completely healed. I traveled to be with him. In May my daughter's husband had a severe motorcycle wreck, he drives semi cross country so missed weeks of work, but thank God he has healed , except for some headaches. Amanda (daughter) then suffered a leg blood clot, but can not afford to have her veins worked on. She has no insurance. In October our 13 year old grandson, (her oldest) developed fluid on his heart. He was in ICU for 6 days and sent home on day 7, no cause is found. As close as they can figure it was caused by a virus out of control. His stepdad stayed home from trucking to take care of the younger kids. I drove her and Cameron to Kansas City Childrens Mercy ICU and stayed with her and my grandson, 4 hours from home. We stayed in Kansas City for the week to constantly be with him. Cameron has healed, except for weird nightmares about the procedure to drain the fluid (he wasn't sedated enough) And being apprehensive about running and being ok. He is still trying to get back to normal. We have taken him for two followup appointments. We are of course praying it will not return. My husband and I funded the travel, meals and expenses for all. We are now out of extra funds. I know they are reaching rock bottom. We live in a rural, small town area and they are too proud ask for help and don't qualify for help from the state, except for the children's medical. They are behind on bills, drive old vehicles and we are all praying our family will have no more health emergencies. We are so thankful for our physical healing but it is hard to try and figure out where house payments are coming from let alone Christmas It is now a battle for all of us to meet common house expenses. I would just like to see a smile on their faces, especially for the children; instead of the constant worry and stress on my daughter's face. My gift for this year was their healing and that is all I needed. I send prayers of good health and peace for you and your loved one's. sincerely, mother of 4 and grandmother of 5; susan k brewer
I have been trying to add our family 2013 story but I can't add a picture so it won't accept it
