I made this delicious salad last night. I also noticed that the printed recipe was not like the one on the show. After viewing the video, I made the following changes....After soaking the beans in tepid water for 2 hours, I found that it only took about 10 minutes to cook the lentils. (I cooked the first batch of lentils for 20 minutes and they are mushy so will be used in a lentil soup.)Keep checking the beans after 7 minutes or so.I didn't include the jalapeno pepper and peeled the apple.For the veggies I used 1c each of diced carrots, diced celery and diced red and yellow peppers combined to make the cup. Saute for 5-7 minutes in 1/4 c olive oil. I followed the rest of the recipe. It turned out great.
