Those military reunions are so wonderful. I cry every time. Our military is so greatly unappreciated. The normal will never understand the sacrifices they make. God bless them all. I am in such awe to you, Ellen, for all you do. Merry Christmas to you, your family and staff.
Dear Ellen- I started watching your show after reading about it in a book I was reading. I had no idea what an inspiration you would be and have embraced your philosophy of Live, Laugh and Dance. I now DVR your show everyday & watch when I get the chance. My husband fell from his car hauler 4 yrs ago & severely damaged his left leg. He is unable to return to that line of work since his ankle will not bend, swells & is still painful when standing. He has been unable to find a job (with the many restrictions) & is somewhat discouraged. I have been working as a social worker for over 30 years. Although I have a job I enjoy, we have not had a raise in over 3 years & don't expect one this year. We are getting by on our income tax refund but soon that cushion will run out. I have started looking for a 2nd job to hoepfully fill the gap. We have lived in our house for 25 yrs & I really don't want to lose it.A gift of $20,000 would enable me to continue paying all our bills, & keep that for my mortgage for the next 2 years until I can hopefully figure something else out.You are an amazing woman. Thank you for listening(reading.)Shelly F. Wilson
