CONGRATULATIONS Ellen, a well-deserved award! All the people love you. Mary
Dear Ellen,
Thank you so much for the laughter you have brought to me over the years--way back to your stand-up comedy days. What a fantastic mind you have, so quick, bright, hilarious and kind; and you're cute. Your mama must be proud.
My son Jeffrey called me mama also. We would sit and laugh ourselves silly when we watched you, together. Well, my Jeffrey died in 2009, he was 37, my baby, my only boy. Needless to say, I'll never be the same; I miss him so much.
In 2005,the situation was that I took custody of my daughters 2 sons; Eli is now 9 and Dylan is 19--it's been really tough on them also; especially Eli. He lost his uncle Jeff, his mother couldn't take care of him and last Oct. he lost his cousin, my 21 yr. old grandson; and now me. With all the losses, I began to break down. After a stint in the hospital, I now live in senior citizens housing and poor Eli is in a foster home; we don't know how this will end up, It's very sad for all of us.
The bright part of this is that Dec. 24,25 &26 he'll be able to come stay with me, we're psyched! However, only having a social security income, I don't have anything for Christmas for him. I was hoping & praying that you could help--I know he would love an x-box & the all-terrain twister vehicle that you had on your show; even that cost$74. I just want him to be a little happy & these things will help.
Thank you for taking time to read this and God bless you and Portia.
A fan forever, Mary Peterson.
P.S I never would of thought of asking for help, I truly believe Jeffrey had his hand in this.
Merry Christmas
