About Me I have raised three kids on my own.No dad,no family, it is not a sob story...we beat the odds I guess. They are great kids and they are great humans.I run my own Licensed Child Care and I take on the kids with neurological, developmental and behavioral issues.I love my work(well it is more some thing I must do).I get to work in the environment I want and that is all inclusive for all children. Children amaze me all the time. The most attractive traits in other people for me are kindness, sense of humor and honesty (with themselves most of all).I am Canadian-Irish. The Irish is what gets me in trouble allot(with a big smile on my face:)

Leonardo DiCaprio, Courteney Cox

This is awesome. Leo does so much to bring attention to environmental issues. That is the main reason I think so much of him. I do feel he is one of top actors today and he is a great actor.

Any time he has something to say about climate change and the environmental issues he is aware I pay attention. He isn't talking out his "you know what" he knows what he is talking. I don't just go by what he says but he does speak for the Science and data of the crisis we are with and have the power to change as human race.

His New movie does look really good. Can't wait to see him and Jonah Hill working together!!!

Help Cure Angelman Syndrome

I was watching segments hear on Ellen and you tube.(Cyber stalking basically:) In the last year have been interested in what he & Ellen has to say. They say allot of what I say and are like minded people. I came across one seg. Here where he spoke of his son & Angelman Syndrome; He mentioned "Puppet Master Syndrome". My foster sister( to me she is my sister) was diagnosed with this. This took me it a 3-4 month research frenzy. The science behind it is so fascinating to me and extremely exciting. FAST is one of the most impressive group I have come across. Regardless of any out come in the labs I think they r on the cusp of some great things (what they have discovered so far is huge). I wanted to go to the summit this year but I feel like this is for the parents. I run a day care and the summit had great info so I watched it the inter net. My sister came to live with us when she & I where 10, we r now 44. She was really one of the people that shaped as a person, as have my 3 children. She was not ever verbal, but her mom was "Mama" and I, she named me "Muppy". A named that I was proud to have! This was about 6 months after she came to live with us. We shared a room & I took care of her from 10 -15yrs old. Got her up, feed her bathed her, brushed her teeth, french braided her hair put her on the bus and was there to get her off the bus. She kept me up allot of nights. It was hard. I never held it against her. As I said she was the making of me. It was always such blessing as I look back. She taught me empathy, compassion, that every person has value and she was my first lesson in unconditional love. She was always my buddy, she nurtured my love of music (she loved AC/DC CCR Def-Leopard and we spent hours listening to music and dancing. She danced in her way), she would make me laugh and we found joy and peace in nature. She would communicate with me as she would no one else and she made me feel special and needed. I would get embarrassed and feel uncomfortable when people would praise me for how I took care of her,now that I am an adult I understand why. She was always giving me so much more than I could ever give her. She gave me a freedom from allot of social pressures others are burdened with,to take joy in simple things, to not be afraid of people that are wired differently, to treat every one as they are an equal to me (not less, also not more) she instilled in me to be strong as a woman, protect those that can't protect themselves and to be grateful for what I have. Even though she could be a mother she was there every step of the way as I raised mine. Now that my youngest is 17 and my 21 & 22 year old are out of the nest and I have time to catch my breath after raising them alone. I have time to really reflect. My 21 year old and my only boy asks me allot "mom how did you know how to raise us, u had no one else, what made you a smart Mom" I tell him It was my sister. I tell him what I have said here. I tell him that is why he and his sisters are the same.( they have a great love for people with different needs to) I have never loved based on looks, I don't dismiss people I have such a understanding of who I am and I get excited when feel I am changing and searching. I share u this because I want to convey that your Angles big or little are such a blessing to the world and have such a presence to bring people to a better version of them selves. To live in the moment, to laugh out loud, to love and when they have that mutual trust between them & another person they can take that person to such a heightened sense of self that it boggles the mind. So every day you plug through, every small victory that is truly immeasurable; just know they r able to teach those that come in contact with so much. IT up to the other person to receive the lesson. They can save a life, Break negative family cycles, mold lives for the better. My sister did that for me & my 3 children.

Watch Ellen Get Her 'Walk of Fame' Star -- Live!

Congratulations Ellen. U r so deserving of this. I do not know if u read the comments so I will say this most times. I have been a fan of yours since your sit come days. I have always thought u to be a comic genius, love your wit, charm & sarcasm. I was so excited when you got ur own show and was curious to see what ur format would be. U have been so great & all ur success in life is so deserved. I love how u consistently pay it forward. I believe u to be very genuine & it comes across every show. Over the years I have loved watching u evolve as human and inspire others to do the same. I do not know if u fully realize how much of an inspiration u r and to how many; all over the world. To make that compassionate human connection is a amazing gift u have. To further it and get others to rethink their position on empathy towards each other and animals is really a joy to watch. U bring light to so many issues that need light on them. I find I get very discouraged at times and some thing u say or do on ur show will lift me up. Sometimes when it seems like a over whelming struggle to get people to listen, to act and to change things for the better. To not just care about their children but all children (and see maybe their children could benefit as well). Or that being gay is not a choice, there is nothing to fear and there is nothing wrong with it. Many more years of success to u Ellen. Many more years of nappiness with ur lovely wife.

Ellen on Paul Walker

I was truly saddened by Paul Walkers passing. His organization Outreach World Wide does amazing work. They use what is on hand as well as equipment they bring and get things done. Paul Walker would be right there joining in the heavy lifting. He always seemed like a regular guy with a big heart. My heart goes out to his daughter, family and friends. I believe his legacy will live on through Outreach World Wide and their team of amazing people.

I really love ur show Ellen. Usually after all my daycare kids have gone home; with a nice cup of strong black coffee I watch. Perfect way to recharge my battery after chasing toddlers around all day... U remind me every day there are other kind souls out there. U spread so much happiness, laughter and kindness to others (2&4 legged) ur r a joy to watch. Can't wait to hear what Farrell says about Elizabeth Taylor. I looked up to her so much. She was strong and feisty woman, yet such a big heart. As well as her advocacy for Aids-HIV research; combating stigma and fear attached to the disease. She fought to combat ignorance and suffering people being ostracised by everyone. She moved mountains!!! Remind Farrell u r a married woman; so no chewing on ur face:) I'd take ur place but I'm sure I'm not his type.To bad 'cause that Colin looks like damn fine kisser. He's probably great at the cuddles to and.... oh my mind's wanderin'....Have a great week. Thanks for keeping us laughing:D
