Win or not, What you are doing is a beautiful thing! I hope everyone remembers what a gift this is that you are giving. I find myself getting grumpy or discouraged that I didn't win I feel sad that my pleas of "pick me pick me" were ignored and then I realize it doesn't matter wether I am picked or not, I am very blessed in this life. So thank you Ellen for EVERYTHING that you do.
My father runs the Humane Society in Atlantic County NJ (In Atlantic City) Instead of leaving the city, he stayed to ensure the safety of all of the Animals at the shelter. He spent a harrowing night pumping rising floodwater out of the shelter. Afterword the outpouring of support was overwhelming, and all during the next few weeks not only did My father and the staff work thier butts off to restore the shelter they gave out pet food to those in need! It is people like My father, his staff, the many many volunteers AND YOU that makes this world a beautiful place. THANK YOU
