Hobbies Stamping/cardmaking (and teaching others), baking, walks along the beach and hanging out with my baby (poodle), friends and family.
About Me I've just retired after 36+ years with the government. I teach scrapbooking/cardmaking and really enjoy enabling others (when it comes to crafting) and getting them hooked as well. I've got one standard poodle (we lost our little girl earlier this year and are currently waiting for a new family member through poodle rescue). I'm thrilled about starting a new chapter in my life and that includes lots more laughter and fun!

Congratulations, Ellen, on your 11th season. You are off and running. I loved today's show (as I do all of your shows). I especially liked that you touched on two big stories that happened during your break and didn't let them go unaddressed - the tornado and of course your beautiful tribute to Talia. She truly was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all. Once I saw her on your show, I followed her from there on, and I can only hope to be as upbeat, positive and brave in any situations I may find myself in. I really liked your comment that meeting you was Talia's dream, but for you, meeting Talia was a gift. That was beautiful! Can't wait to see day 2.

Ellen - watching you with the girls at Portia's school was so fun. You had me in tears - both from laughter and because of the joy and fun you brought to the students.

Whoops - the note about Australia showed up under the wrong segment - sorry. Love Michael Chiklis too!

Ellen - as you know, Franky (my standard poodle) and I watch your show daily and love it. Today, during the opera singing competition in Australia, Franky had quite a bit to say. I'm not sure if he was cringing or singing along, but he was definitely sounding off through the entire segment.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ELLEN! I am so excited about this new year as it's a new chapter for me as well. I retired last week and am looking forward to watching your show realtime rather than taped. Don't get me wrong, taping is good too, I still danced (used to be my main source of exercise), laughed and enjoyed the show, regardless of when I watched it. When my mother was sick several years ago, you were my lifeline because I ended each stressful day with laughter (watching your show). You are an inspiration to everyone, and you bring me to tears more often than not - whether it's due to laughter, or because of the amazing good you do for people. Attending your show is on my bucket list, so now that I've got more flexibility with my time, I'm hoping that will happen someday. THANK YOU for all love and laughter you share with so many people everyday.
