About Me I am actually based in England and watch the Ellen shows on the internet. I have found her funny, but at the same time serious when in a genuine situation such as this. She is also compassionate. There is a episode of the show, where a boy with extreme learning difficulties appears with his parents. The boy goes up to Ellen, and wants to talk, and the first thing she does is to ask: "do you want to sit with me?" He moves towards and she sits him beside her in her chair and puts her arm around him. Not once does she talk down to him. His "thanks Ellen" is so genuine makes her tear up. To those who run this woman down; you can say what you like she is great with children. The same thing happened in this clip, where she does not talk down to Pamela and is clearly embarrased about the statement she made in the earlier programme. There are very few people in the UK who would invite the person who they (in effect) insulted back on to their show, live, to make an apology like that.

So pleased that Tayte has now on a donor list, and that he has a date scheduled for the transplant.

2016 seems a long way away, and I just hope that he is going to stay positive and if possible that the date can be brought forward. Having seen him come through so far and so positive and despite having a cardiac arrest during the last stay, that everyone can hold their calm. I would be so much happier to seem him completely well, sooner rather than later.

My love goes to Tayte and Chrissy. I will keep an eye out on the system for him.
As I say I am in England and watch this show via the Internet, and this sequence of events has just kept me glued to his progress.

I hope that we will be kept informed of his progress and when a date has been set down for the surgery.

With very best wishes and love to Tayte and Chrissy,

Ellen's First Ever 'I Was Wrong'

You can say what you like about Ellen, and on this occasion she was indeed wrong; but at least she had the moral fibre to say so in front of her live audience and to the camera.

You actually hear the genuine apology, when she first greets Pamela, and it is clear that the audience were not meant to hear it, but the lapel microphone picks it up on this clip.

Then to invite Pamela on to the stage and face to face and without reservation apologise is something that a great number of talk-show hosts would not do.

Well done Pamela for finnishing; and Ellen, thank you for having the moral fibre to make the apology face-to-face and in front of a live audience, and know that it is recorded on video and can be brodcast through any medium

Refreshing change.
