Ray Romano, The Fisher Family

I think about Jodi quite often.Every year I try to pick out the funniest show and the most touching inspirational show of the season.My funny of course was Julia Roberts, because when you 2 are together its pee your pants laughter!But my inspirational was absolutely Jodi and her family.I cried thru the show when they were on and I cried when I saw the show dedicated to jodi's memory.I had a time of prayer and thanksgiving for her life and asked great comfort for her family.i am a cancer survivor and have severe FMS,and because i cant work, i struggle terribly with living expenses.BUT I always try to stay positive so everyone around me sees that you can choose to keep living thru strength, determination ,love and laughter no matter what your situation is.Sometimes a real bad pain day starts to knock me down, and all I do is think about Jodi and I get right back up,put that smile on my face and try to do somethign for someone else to take my mind off my pain.I think of her family often and hope and pray that they have been able to keep the inspiration of her indomitable spirit in their hearts and daily lives. I know losing her left a huge huge hole where so much enthusiasm,positivity and love for life was, because that's who she was, but i pray everyday for them to have the strength to carry on as she would have wanted them to. I have a strong feeling that this family has kept on spreading love and joy, just as Jodi would. So i was very very glad to read in your email that the family would be on tomorrow! I keep them in my prayers and have wondered many times how they are doing.I will definitely have my tissues in hand and am looking very forward to seeing them again.Jodi and her family were my season 9 pick for most touching, inspirational and motivational show.I have always said, the worst things happen to the best people, because they show us all how to endure hardship and suffering with grace, dignity, and most of all with love, compassion,laughter and kindness.Please tell them they are in my heart and prayers and always will be. They lost someone who could never ever be replaced, but they didn't lose her, because all that she taught them is in their hearts and she is too. Thank you Ellen for your compassion, generousity and love. When you bring people like Jodi and her family into our lives all around the world, it makes the world a better place and gives us hope and courage through our struggles. God bless you all.
