That teacher is so amazing and so inspiring. She cares more about her students then she does herself. The world needs more loving people just like her! :)
had never tried Burt's Bees until Sept 18. Thanks for the tube and the Camera *grin*
That was a great show and we enjoyed every moment at the taping.
was wondering if there were any video links to the people dancing on the stairs during commercial breaks.. My daughter was one of them and I'd love to be able to either have a video or picture of it. We were in L.A as part of my daughter's Graduation from University trip… and this would be another wonderful thing to add to the memories from the trip. Any way to get a video or picture??
Hi, I work full time, but try to watch past episodes of Ellen on our cable tv whenever I can, but today I am home with bronchitis, and got to see the episode with Michael J Fox, which I loved. I have read his books, and watched him since family ties. What an inspiration! And well done giving Rachael's school $100,000! I also enjoyed the interview with LA Reid.We currently have the X-Factor here and I would love you to have a look at the 14yo contestant, Shiabe Hawke and also the 19yo Angel Tupai on u-tube. We think they are amazing and I would love to share their rare talents with you.(well worth a look) Love your show and I love how you give so much encouragement and inspiration to others. Cheers. Denise Shores Australia! x
Love Michael, & with Parkinsons', what a great attitude, I have MS and wish I could be as positive as Michael. Maybe Canada will do the Liberation Treatment here some day and I won't need to go to Poland again !!!!!
I was so happy to see Michael J. Fox on your show, I am such a huge fan of his. He definately made me look at my medical problems and realize how fortunate I am that I can have surgery and make it better. There will be no more whinning from me. He is such an inspiration to us all...yeah Michael!!
Huge fan of Michael J. Fox!!! Grew up with him, through television of course. Love him, he is doing awesome!!
Michael J. Fox, PSY, and Mike Song and his mother!!! Can't wait. I love them all. Glad your having Mike and his mom on. He is very talented and funny. My kids and I like to watch him dance. Hope you dance together. Enjoy your day all, Kat, Koien and Sean.
I am excited about the fact that Michael J. Fox will be making his first appearance on your show. He made the public aware that he had been struggling with Parkinsons Disease in 1998 which was the year I was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease. Michael and I are the same age. Since he went public with his disease, he has done incredible things to help those of us suffering with this disease. In an effort to find a cure or at least improve the quality of one's life he has funded and pushed through research efforts. He has appeared before Congress trying to get more NIH funding, etc. He is amazing person with such a positive attitude. The fact that he has continued to act, do public speaking engagements, write books and raise a beautiful family is just so awesome. I honestly hope that we find a cure for this debilitating degenerative neurological disease. I had DBS surgery almost 2 years ago and it was truly life changing. I now am able to do things independently again. It would not have been possible without money donated for research. I have raised over 150,000 dollars since 2004 when I began raising money to find a cure by participating every year in the Parkinson's Unity walk which gives some of the money raised to Michael J. Fox foundation to fund research. I also hope that Michael will mention the Charity Miles fundraising application developed by Gene Gurkoff who helped start the Michael J. Fox foundation. It is an application that tracks how many miles you walk, bike, or run and donates to the charity you specify. One of which is the Fox Foundation. My niece Charlotte Matthews an aspiring actress was an intern for Mr. Gurkoff this summer. I hope Michael will mention this easy way to donate to charity as well as the Unity Walk. Ellen, I would love to have you join my team, Team Nashville for the Unity Walk in April of 2013. That would be really cool!! Think about it!!
Yours truly,
Gayle
Dear Ellen,
My name is Nicole Jarvis Zimmerer, and I am a 39 year old ObGyn physician, wife, mother of 5 year old identical twin boys, and I am also a patient diagnosed almost one year ago with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease. Needless to say, this has completely changed my daily life, but it has also has changed the landscape of my life in years to come. I have decided that to the best of my ability, I am going to try turn this diagnosis into something positive in my own life, and hopefully help many others along the way.
As a doctor, I am passionate about finding cures for all diseases, and improving the quality of life for all patients suffering from chronic illness. As a YOPD patient, I am passionate about making my own contribution to finding the cure for the disease that affects me every day. In the state of Oklahoma, there are approximately 15,000 patients with Parkinson's Disease, and yet when I looked to contribute to a Team Fox Fundraising Event, there were no community events available in the whole state. I decided that Oklahoma needs a Team Fox event in which the entire community can participate. So, I am now planning the Nicole Jarvis MD Winter Gala for Parkinson's Disease Research!
This is a huge undertaking for me, and I am getting lots of support from my family, friends, and coworkers here in Oklahoma. We are all so excited about this project! The event will be a Winter Gala on December 13th, and an amazing museum here in Norman, OK - the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History- has graciously donated their beautiful facility to us for a dinner gala and silent auction. I would LOVE for you to consider doing a segment or mentioning this on your show in conjuction with Michael J Fox's appearance coming up on Wednesday's show. I'm sure with his busy schedule he doesn't know that we are implementing the only Team Fox community event in the state of Oklahoma! Wouldn't it be so wonderful to tell him about it and show him our page on his Team Fox site?! There are approximately 15,000 Oklahomans with Parkinson's Disease, and this will be our chance to help secure patients with Parkinson's Disease a better quality of life, and hopefully a cure!
You can see my Team Fox Page for more detailed information about our event:

Please help us Ellen! We need you!
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Nicole

I make $82h while I'm traveling the world. Last week I worked by my laptop in Rome, Monti Carlo and finally Paris…This week I'm back in the USA. All I do are easy tasks from this one cool site. check it out, >>> http://Green32.com
Am looking forward to seeing Michael Fox...another Canadian who did well in Hollywood. Love him and his strength and compassion as he deal with Parkinsons disease. Thank you Ellen for having him on your show.
My 11 year old daughter Jenna can't wait to see your show with Michael J Fox on the 19th. In June, my husband and I were waiting the right moment to inform our young children in a positive way that their Dad has YOPD ( Young Onset Parkinson Disease). Immediately after finding out his diagnoses, Jenna sprang into action writing a speech that she took out into our community. She is determined to raise awareness to this disease and hopefully find a cure so that her Dad and others' don't have to live with PD forever. Her original goal was $1,000.00...she meet that goal within 3 days. She told us that her birthday wish is to reach $5,000.00 & if she did reach this goal her wish is to meet Michael J.Fox. Micheal & my husband Blair are only 2 days apart in age, both Canadian, both have daughters the same age & share the same challenges with YOPD.

Jenna has now raised an amazing $11,60...0.00 for Parkinson Disease and has inspired many others to join the race for a cure. I hope that you can share this information with Michael J. Fox.
Thank you for your time
Karren:)
P.S. Love your show
