Is it just me or did someone in today's comments just put in the comment a bank swift code? What the heck is that and why in the heck would you comment that number in a public forum?
hi ellen i have a son who could use your help he has 4 boys three of them live with them, he lost his house they bought one on land contract .him and wife works part time they try to do the best they can with what they get his legs are bad has alot of pain no health insurance their house payment ishigh plus they have pay their own property taxes they just dont make enough money to make ends meet need repairs to cars and tires if you can help i would appreciate it .i wish i could help but cant on fix income thank you very much love your show karen
I live in Toms River NJ and every day I read the Asbury Park Press. There are so many in this area that are really in dire straights due to Hurricane Sandy.I personally was not affected by this horrific storm, but many in my area were and it disturbs me to see you giving $ to people who don't look as needy as those who I see locally,especially the woman in Michigan.There are people here still living in hotels,being screwed by their insurance companies and FEMA. They are losing hope. Please find it in your heart to help them!
Thank you, Ellen. My mother is a 93 year old African American woman, raised in the Missionary Baptist Church. Her faith and experiences make her very socially conservative (or so I thought). I'm a proud liberal Democrat, so my mother and I have had our share of political disagreements over the years.
She loves you and watches your show every day. Today, when you started your statement about the Boy Scouts, I paused and watched her watching you...not knowing what to expect.
When you finished, she said loudly, "that's right, Ellen" to the TV. I cried.
Please keep doing what you do. With all of us helping, you can really change the world!

my dearest ellen, this would be a dream come true me and my family has been thru so much we lost our home and everything we owned in the march 2nd torando and we were displaced i lost my mom back in august to cancer we never had a christmas or a christmas tree we have been really struggling for a long time. i believe in dreams they can come true if you want them bad enough. we love you ellen you and your staff is the best. love pam

I have wanted to enter many of the giveaways but since I have no pictures of myself(I am very very very overwieght and am 66 years old)to upload I cannot enter any contests/giveaways. I have struggled most of my life and had a few family unexpected deaths(2 sisters died within 8 months of each other),I was also laid off from my job 3 years ago.. Very hard to manage.....
