I cried the day of the news, my heart is still so heavy. I dont know where their strength comes from, I know I would never be able to handle what they are dealing with. Any problems that I thought were so big to me, mean nothing. All my prayers go out to the families in New Town. I wish there was more that I could do. But I will send my love to all of them.

I feel your pain Ellen, this is going to be the saddest Christmas I have ever experienced. Now we have copycat popping up across the country, it's a sad sad world when people think nothing of taking someones life, but children, that really is the hardest to understand. Mrvin Gaye said it best, "What's Going On?"

Hi Ellen Merry Christmas to you your family and all your staff.I love your show and watch you everyday and if I miss my regular time I find you some where on the tv. I love what you do for the people of the world and you give people so much joy and happiness with evrything you do. It would be a dream to win the trip to Jamica my daughter got married last yar there and they are working on getting her husband here.So they have been apart since January last year so this would be a wonderful gift. Our hearts go out to the families of Newtown...this has touched everyone globally even in our small town in Canada our children our writing their thoughts and prayers in their schools and sending them your way..my only wish is that laws be passed where the media can't speak the names of these monsters that commit such evil...they should have no face, no name. These poor families whom lives have been torn apart my heart weeps for you. Your in our prayers...
