The Bird and The Bee

A collaboration between two successful artists, The Bird and The Bee, has endeared their fans with fun and quirky music that will put anyone in a good mood. Now the duo of Inara George and Greg Kurstin has just released an album in tribute to Hall and Oates.

Inara and Greg originally met in 2004 when Inara was working on a solo album and needed someone on piano for several songs. Her producer recommended a fellow producer and instrumentalist, Greg Kurstin. The two found an immediate connection and discovered a love for jazz and tropicana. They worked together, fusing the genres into songs with a light, upbeat sound, and in 2006 released their debut EP, "Again and Again and Again and Again." They followed it up with a self-titled album -- which produced a #1 dance hit.

Their music has also found commercial success, with many of their tracks appearing in films, television and commercials -- including "Grey's Anatomy," "Sex and the City: The Movie" and the recent "Valentine's Day." Now the duo has created a new album in tribute to Hall and Oates entitled, "Interpreting the Masters Volume 1: A Tribute to Daryl Hall and John Oates."
