Their lead singer was named the "Sexiest Man Alive,” and Maroon 5 has sold more than 17 million albums. Their 2002 debut album, “Songs About Jane,” sold more than 4.7 million copies and led to their first world tour. Maroon 5’s third album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Chart. The band then re-released the album in 2011 with the single “Moves Like Jagger,” which featured the talented Christina Aguilera. “Moves Like Jagger” quickly reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart, selling more than 14.4 million copies worldwide, making it one of the world’s best-selling singles.
Their fifth album, “V,” was released September 2015 and debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200. The album’s debut single, “Maps,” set a record for the highest debut by a group on TOP 40 radio charts in 18 years and has earned a top 100 spot in 18 countries.
With extraordinary musical talent, it’s fair to say that Maroon 5 continues to capture devoted fans. Lead singer and frontman Adam Levine was also the first artist in Billboard's Hot 100 chart's history to reach #1 as part of a group and to enter the Top 10 at the same time as a soloist. Their latest single, “Don’t Wanna Know,” featuring Kendrick Lamar, was released in October 2016.
