The country vocal quartet Little Big Town began with Kimberly Roads and Karen Fairchild, two Georgia natives who began singing together in college. Jimi Westbrook, a friend of Fairchild's husband, joined them to make a trio, and the group was completed by the addition of Phil Sweet in 1998. The group has made six albums together. Their 2012 single, “Pontoon," was the first #1 single of their career and was certified platinum. This hit also won them a Grammy in 2013. Their two most recent albums have been very successful and were produced by ex-In Pursuit member Jay Joyce. In February, 2015, they performed a hit from their most recent album, “Pain Killer,” on The Ellen Show. The ballad “Girl Crush” earned them a Grammy in 2015. Little Big Town is currently touring the world and will release their 8th studio album, "The Breaker," on February 24, 2017.
