In 2010, Ellen helped pick American Idol: Lee DeWyze. After several years working on his craft, he finally got the opportunity of a lifetime -- one that couldn't have gone any better. Now he's releasing his fourth album, "Frames." Growing up in Mount Prospect, Illinois, Lee always had interest in music. At 17, he was performing at a house party when the owner of an independent record label took notice. He was signed and released two albums -- all while working in a paint store to get by. A friend convinced DeWyze to audition for Season 9 of "American Idol," and he was one of only seventeen chosen from Chicago. With Ellen's praise, he made it all the way to the end, and won the title of American Idol along with a new record deal. Following the "American Idol Tour," he set to work on his first album, "Live It Up." Since then, Lee married model/actress, Jonna Walsh and has been writing “Frames,” in stores now. He stopped by The Ellen Show to perform his single, “Fire Away,” in September 2013.
