In 10 years, Demi Lovato has gone from dancing on "Barney and Friends" to platinum-selling recording artist. With over 17 million Twitter followers and over 422 million views on her YouTube page, she has skyrocketed to superstar status.
After her time on "Barney," Lovato caught the acting bug and appeared on various television shows until she landed the lead role on Disney Channel’s original movie "Camp Rock.” It was then announced that she signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records. In September 2008, production began on Lovato's own TV series, "Sonny with a Chance.” The program was a hit! Lovato announced that she would be leaving "Sonny with a Chance" in 2011, just prior to the release of her third studio album, "Unbroken."
Demi has since returned to television as one of the judges on the musical competition series "The X-Factor." She released her self-titled fourth studio album in May 2013, which hit #3 on the Billboard 200 chart. She performed "Neon Lights” on "The Ellen Show" in October 2013.
