Ariana Grande was born in 1993 in Boca Raton, Florida, where she began her acting career at 15 in the musical "13." Shortly after, Grande's career was launched when she landed the role of Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon sitcom, "Victorious." After the show ended, she starred in the spinoff, "Sam & Cat." In 2011, Grande was featured on the soundtrack "Music from Victorious," and soon after signed a recording contract with Republic Records. By 2013, Ariana was in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with her lead single "The Way," featuring rapper Mac Miller. In 2014, "Problem" hit #1 on the iTunes chart after being released for only 30 minutes! She then performed the single on The Ellen Show that May. The girl is a rock star!
Grande went on her first world tour, The Honeymoon tour, in 2015, and released yet another hit, "Focus." Her third album was released in 2016 titled "Dangerous Woman," which took Ariana once again to the top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100. Grande has won two American Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award, and received two Grammy nominations. She was named one of the most influential people in the world in on the TIME 100 list. Ariana returned to The Ellen Show to perform her latest hits, “Side to Side” and “Into You.”
