Two electrical workers recently rescued a fawn beneath a tree on a path they were clearing, and bonded with the animal over a belly rub. The baby deer quickly got used to the good life…

According to the YouTube post, the fawn was tangled in some thorns and “pretty shaken up" when the men discovered him, so they opted to rub his belly to calm his nerves.

“It worked a little too well, as you can see,” they noted, adding, “He’s spoiled. We have spoiled a wild deer.”

When they sent the fawn on his way, the deer followed the guys around their job site for an hour until he was reunited with his family.

“I noticed a doe watching us from the hillside,” one of the men wrote. “Assuming this was his mother, I carried him about halfway up the hill while she watched attentively. I sat him down, he ran straight to her, and they walked off together.”

Now the fawn is refusing to do any chores without getting his tummy rubbed.
