There's a big drought in L.A., and things are starting to seem pretty bad, so Ellen took a moment to remind us that things could definitely be worse.

I have no faith that this comment/post will get to Ellen, but I have to say that in all my years of being a loyal fan and supporter of Ellen, she finally hit a negative nerve. "The Drough Is Bad, But It Could Be Worse" is NOT funny. If you come from a farming family where literally your life depends on rain and normal seasons.....I DO NOT see anything humorous about the terrible plight of the rancher/farmer.There are families who's entire livlihood are in balance, especially having come off of a recession. I've always been proud of how Ellen has overcome the prejudice of being gay and risen to a "superstar"...but I'm gay as well, and my family stuggled to cope with the hardship of farming and having to cope with good years and bad due to weather patterns. I DID NOT find your segment funny one bit. I hope in retrospect you realize how hurtful you were to run this segment. NOT FUNNY!!!!!!

I would like to ask a very personal question of Ellen if I may. Ellen why have you or Porshia had children of your own to love and raise. I think from watching you regularly you would make a perfect mother to any child you would raise.
