I have two nieces that are being bullied in their elementary school. I was so disheartened to hear their mothers talk about it that I thought, I need to ask my son if he was going through anything similar. After a lengthy talk with my five year old (he had not experienced any bullying) we started talking about kindness and I reminded him of Ellen and what she say's everyday on her show. Later I played an episode of Ellen for him and made sure he heard what he said. He smiled and told me that he would try and be extra kind to everyone in school.
