Adoptable Pets of the Week

Tanya is a 1-year-old cat with gorgeous gray fur. She's good with other cats and loves to have her belly rubbed. Break out some toys and Tanya is guaranteed to put a smile on your face with her frisky antics. Meet her in person and see for yourself why she's a volunteer/staff favorite!

Bell is a 5-year-old Corgi/Chihuahua mix that loves to lay on your lap and be petted. Bell also gives sweet kisses. She's great with other little dogs and walks well on a leash. Bell would do best in a home with another small dog or with a person or family that would spend a lot of time with her. Come meet this cutie today!

Turtle is a gentle giant, an overgrown lap dog and a staff and volunteer favorite. This affectionate boy loves to give hugs and kisses. He's good on a leash for short walks. He has a foot injury that prevents longer treks, but would be a fantastic chill buddy to watch TV or hang out around the house. Turtle has been waiting a long time to find the right person or family. Come down to our center and ask our adoption specialists to introduce you to this special dog... and see if Turtle doesn't steal your heart, too!

Snickers is a 3-year-old tabby who currently resides in the free roam cat room at our center and enjoys feline companionship, but once a person walks in the room, Snickers is usually the first cat to say hi. If you're looking for an easygoing, well-behaved, all-around cool cat, Snickers is your guy!

All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and ready to go to their forever home immediately. Best Friends also provides a collar, customized ID tag, one month of veterinary insurance and a bag of food with every adoption, plus a carrier for cats or leash for dogs. Best Friends Pet Adoption Center is located at 15321 Brand Boulevard, Mission Hills, CA. The center is open from noon to 8 p.m. daily.

Could you please have Villalobos Pit bull rescue on your show to help their cause. Pit bulls are the most over bred breed and the most understood. I have owned pit bulls my whole life and am a huge advocate to saving them but it's never going to end if people do not start taking responsibility for this breed. Tia is a beautiful soul that not only helps the breed but parolees. It would such a HUGE deal to have her on the show. I'm begging you she needs help and has a huge heart like you Ellen!
