Hi! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and are back home safe, or at least you’re somewhere with cable.

This week I'm kicking off my 12 Days of Giveaways! It’s going to be the biggest one yet. Right now, all the boxes of prizes are stacked all over my living room. Portia and I made a fort.

If you want to be in my audience for one of the 12 Days of Giveaways, there’s still time to win tickets! Enter here.

That’s not the only gift I have for you this week -- Britney Spears is here! She’s starting a big show in Las Vegas! I’m glad she’s here, because I have lots of advice for her... for example, she should never split a pair of tens.

I’m also talking to The Sexiest Man Alive, Adam Levine! He’s here to tell me about his music and his hit show, "The Voice." At least that’s what I told him. Mostly I’m just gonna try to get him to take his shirt off.

If you’re in the mood for some holiday cheer, Kelly Clarkson is gonna perform a song from her new Christmas CD! She just announced that she has another special present that’s gonna arrive in about 9 months. Also, I hear she’s pregnant!

The very funny Ben Stiller is here to tell me about his new movie, “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." He’s also working on a sequel to “Zoolander,” which I’m expecting he’ll call “Toolander."

My good friend Allison Janney is here to talk about her hilarious show “Mom," and we’re gonna play my favorite game, “Heads Up!” She’s ridiculously competitive. I remind her of that every time I beat her at a game.

Plus, I’ve got amazing performances from Gavin DeGraw, John Legend, and Bastille will sing their #1 hit, “Pompeii!”

This week, it’s time to get into the holiday spirit!

How can we get tickets to a Christmas show 2014? My wife and I would love to travel from GA to your studio.
I am retired (due to back/muscle trouble), and my wife, Judy, has been (is) a teacher for 39 years (32 in public school and 7 years in a private Christian school now). I guess we'd fly to get here. (We are both over 60, and this would be some kind of exciting! We've been married for 34 years. We love to do things like this together. )

We love your show, we would love to come on you 12- days, because it looks like it would be the most funnest and amaizing time in the world, to get presents and be on T.V., and meet you! well I've never even won more than five dollars on a lottery ticket, I have no parents and my husband is my every thing and to win a pair of tickets to your show would mean the world to us. We are a low budget family , and would save everything to fly or drive over to you're show , we watch you every day.

I love your show and I dance with you every day! I have entered giveaways and contests many times and I responded when asked about anyone needing a car... ME! I have been without a car for 2 years in California. Mine broke down beyond repair, I got sick, had financial woes, all happening just at the time of retirement. (Airline pension cut to $240/month due to company bankruptcy, at the same time... bad timing! Now, airline is out of bankruptcy and doing OK, but all those affected after 9/11/2001 got shafted!) I hate to complain, like to be upbeat, hopeful and happy and I LOVE ELLEN!

Ellen I watch your show almost every day and I just want to tell you, you bring joy into my life because you make me laugh. I'm 64 and live alone. At times that can get depressing although I stay optimistic and hopeful.. The last few yrs have been a medical challenge. Diagnosed in 2006 with Takayasu (Iknow there is a joke in there somewhere for you) no cure but manageable with drugs. in 2009 diagnosed with anal rectal cancer. In 2013 spent 3 days in icu for pulmonary embolism. In Feb. my son fell a broke his neck in 3 place. Luckily he lived through it and eventually will be ok. I believe that staying as healthy as I can will only help me through my journeys, so I walk 3 miles a day and have become a vegetarian. My wish, now that i'm healthier is to volunteer at the cancer center and help out where I can but I need a car to do that. I drive a 21 yr. old chevy and it is not dependable. I spent Thanksgiving alone and I know I could have been somewhere helping out if I had dependable transportation. Sometimes we need help, to be able to help. Thank you for listening to my story.

Ellen- You should be very proud, you truly lift peoples spirits and have a positive effect on peoples lives! Enjoy watching your show! My daughter whom is 11 and turning 12 next month believes we should just pack a bag, load up our stuff, pick up my girlfriend (whom lives 3+ hours away- Yea we can just call her on our way to let her know) & get on the road to go to see you in person. We enjoy you all year round. You have great guest and good conversations.

Thank you Ellen for joy you send my family. There hasn't been much joy since the day I collided with a transport truck coming back from work as an MRI Technologist. the driver of the truck wasn't licenced, and the truck wasn't safe to be on the road. I received an severe concussion, a catastrophic brain injury, short term memory loss, stress disorder, whiplash and back injuries. Its been almost 4 years since the accident, I can't work, I can't drive, and receive very little to look after my 3 kids. On top of this, their father doesn't pay any child support and hasn't since we separated in 2007. I have been in and out of hospital and just want my life back. If not for me, for my children who deserve the outgoing mom they used to have.
For the first 2 and a half years I spent most of my time in bed from the pain and the depression. I wasn't sure if living was worth it. If it wasn't for my beautiful children I'm not sure that I would be here. I would love to give my children the Christmas they truly deserve to have. Thank you for being such a wonderful person and a joy to watch. You put a smile on my face and show me that life is worth living for, and there are such kind people in this world. If you could help me put a smile on my children's faces this Christmas I would be forever grateful.
Thank you. Merry Christmas to you Ellen and your family,
Love Barbara Law
