Dear Ellen, I'm asking for a car for my brother, Michael. His car is so old and horrible he has to park it a mile from his home and walk to and from it to go to work or anywhere else. It leaks so much oil, where he lives won't let it on the premises. Please, Ellen, help him. There is no one who does more for friends and people in need but he has had a really tough time financially. He is a very talented photographer and writer but no work right now in either fields (hard as he tries). He's 68 and has bad feet so I worry about all this walking to his car. You will be so happy to help him because he is a good and deserving person.

My daughter Jackie Covalt
has been living in HELL for the past 6 years and is trying to better herself. she has had to start over starting with an abusive relationship, to being robbed 3 times and loosing everything she had along with her car to another "crazy" person. She lost her job, was evicted from her home and lost all her worldly possessions and was homeless for a short time. She is living at home once again and has gotten the promise of a job. She really does need a vehicle to help her continue to better herself and maintain gainful employment. There is a brief previous comment to you that was sent in error. I pray you will consider her for a new car. She is a wonderful person and deserves a break in life. thank you for your time, Barbara Covalt

My daughter needs any kind of a car. She just got a job as a teacher at a Montessori school which is the best job she has ever had.She had a seizure at the wheel, crossed over 6 lanes of road and hit a bridge totaling her car. After the bank is paid off, she will only have a few hundred dollars left for a new car. There is no mass transit. She loves working with children and does not want to lose this job, needs the money for her child. This is the first seizure she had in over 15 yrs, took her meds, doctor is stumped. It is even possible she fell asleep at the wheel. She is in very bad emotional state, but thankful that no one else was involved. Her son has a cleft palate, and she is active the the cleft plate organization along with boy scouts.

My wife and I are crossing guards at the same school here in Jacksonville Fl. Due to the economy being the way it is, and the fact that I am 59 and she is 56, we can not find anything more in the way of a job where we work more than 10 hrs a week. We drive a 2000 Dodge Caravan that has 190,000 miles on it. Needless to say it's on it's last legs and we can not afford to replace it. We don't need anything fancy, just something to get us back and forth to school, grocery shopping and running errands. A replacement vehicle would go a long way to help us in the position we currently find ourselves in. Thank you

I would like to enter to win the car. I have a friend who desperately needs transportation. We are very involved with helping young adults trying to get their lives on track. She's been a longtime single mom and has a pack living at her house. She's been unemployed for some time now and needs a car! How do I enter to win? Is it too late?

So my boyfriend, Michael Jackson, needs a car. He started a commercial cleaning business 2 years ago from practically nothing. It is amazing that the business has not only survived but done very well! The only explanation I have for this success, is that it is what God placed him here to do. His growth has been amazing, his revenue has reached upwards of $30k a month! So how does someone who is making so much money not have a car or a home for that matter? He has an amazing heart. His biggest goals are to employ people who need a chance but not just employ them but to build confidence and foster an environment of personal growth for each of them. The cleaning business often attracts people who need a lot of emotional guidance and have low self esteem. He takes time to teach them diligence, grow their confidence and groom them to their best potential. He has employed over 25 people in a short 2 years. He often extends extra financial blessings, beyond their paycheck, to some of them who are in dire need, even when he doesn't have it for himself. His employees have no idea that he is actually homeless. He is a retired Senior Chief in the Navy and has overcome a lot to get to where he is. The business has exhausted his personal finances and destroyed his personal credit. He has recently put himself as well as his 3 children through college. He has grown his business strictly on referrals, his clients love his thoroughness and excellent customer service. The business has a huge potential and is ready to grow to the next level but has been stagnated because of unavailable funds. We have also not been able to get married because of these same financial troubles. He has an old work van that is constantly breaking down. As the owner of this business, he typically drives 300 miles a day!! A new car would help him out tremendously. Times have been really tough lately and he could really use a blessing.

Cameron Neal is an 12 year old boy from Dayton, Ohio. He has two brothers ages 14 and 4 and a 1 year old sister. On April 6th, 2010 at the age of 9 years old, Cameron was diagnosed with Anaplastic Ependymoma, a rare form of brain cancer along with Von Willebrand Disease type 1, which is a bleeding disorder. He had his first brain surgery on April 9, 2010 to remove a softball sized tumor from his brain leaving him with partial paralysis on the right side of his body. Almost immediately following the surgery the family then packed up and traveled to Bloomington, Indiana for 6 weeks while Cameron received Proton Beam Radiation at IU Proton Therapy. The Family was informed that all of Cameron's tumor had been removed and the outcome was hopeful leaving everyone with a huge sigh of relief. Unfortunately, on November 21,2011 an MRI showed that Cameron was having seizure activity on his brain and on the following April 24, 2012 it was once again discovered that Cameron's tumor was back and about 2 1/2 inches.

Cameron had his second brain surgery on May 2, 2012. Doctors were not able to remove the entire tumor and by September18 ,2012 Cameron was having his third brain surgery. On October 3, 2012 he had surgery to have a port placed in his chest and started his first round of Chemo the following day. Cameron is currently on his third round of Chemo and will be finishing on December 6,2012. The Family once again traveled to Bloomington, Indiana for 6 weeks for another round of Proton Beam Radiation in late December! Both trips to Bloomington, Dad took off work for six weeks w/o pay and traveled with his family.
2013 held more of the same for this family. They were told that Dayton Children's Hospital could no longer treat Cameron and referred him to St.Judes Hospital in Memphis, TN. Many miles from home for a total of 6-8 weeks of treatments. This time dad could only go for 2 weeks for fear of losing his job that he has been on for more than 13 years. To make a long story short, the MRI came back not good at the end of treatment so he was sent home to Dayton to have 8 more weeks of the chemo treatments he was getting in Memphis. Now on October 13, 2013 Mom has to go back to St. Judes alone for many more test and treatments, length of time unknown. The vehicle they have has broken down on them 3-4 times in Memphis because they cant afford a new one because of the expenses of all this traveling.
They had to spend $60...0 the first time and $400 the next and so on. All money they needed to pay bills here in Dayton, OH and bills in Memphis, TN.
You can follow Cameron's story at www.facebook.com/Pray4Cam and Donate to help Cameron and his Family at any PNC Bank under Cameron Neal Foundation region 070.Cameron loves to play football! His favorite football team is the Cincinnati Bengals!!! Cameron loves this page and loves that he has so many "Fans" Praying for him. We believe in the strength of Prayers in numbers!!!
Right now the family is praying FOR A VEHICLE THAT WILL HOLD THEIR FAMILY SAFELY THROUGH THEIR MANY TRAVELS TO FIGHT THIS TERRIBLE DISEASE.
I'm Grandma, and I too am praying along with my prayers for a clean bill of health, that this vehicle takes them as far as they must travel to FIGHT.
