Please take a minute to vote for my niece Courtnie, L.

http://www.drpeppertuition.com/filter/search/Court.

She has a special gift that she shares with special needs children. Her goal is to become a special education teacher but she struggles with her own learning disadvantages and finances. Her mother has leukemia so she obtains student loans. She has more student loans than she will make as a teacher and works at a gas station to make ends meet.

This would be very helpful as I have 2 teenagers, 17 & 15. I lost my job 10 months ago and am just trying to keep our heads above water. I am struggling to figure out how to afford Senior pics or a graduation party. Both of my girls have great grades (3.9 & 3.6 GPA's) and both are focused on their futures but are also anxious about how to afford college. They are incredible people; intelligent, motivated, drug and alcohol free. Also they excel in art, languages, and most of they are compassionate and loving. I am blessed to be their Mom and thank God for giving them to me. Ellen I just would love to make college a REAL option for them. Thanks for reading this and know we all love you in my home, we watch you everyday and thank you for making us laugh and giving us hope when our lives are so challenged at this time,

My daughter is attending Michigan State University and hopes someday to be a veterinarian. Michigan State is the only school in Michigan to have such a program. She works very hard and is a junior at the present time. Ellen was a big influence on her career choice because of all of the work she does with animals. We hope she can stay in school because in spite of many student loans and generous scholarships. I was forced to retire early from my job but my husband (luckily) is still working. We have had many bills to catch up on and the money situation is not well. A scholarship such as this would keep my daughter in school. She also said she would give Ellen free medical care if she was able to finish school and become a full-fledged veterinarian. A scholarship such as this would help my daughter's dreams come true. Winning this contest would be the best ever! THANK YOU!

Tuition money would be life changing. I am 36 years young and would like to finish my psychology degree. Last I checked I still had 40 hrs to graduate from UMSL. I gave up school to become a momma. My daughter, Kailey, is in 7th grade and she would like to attend an amazing all female local school (after 8th grade). After 4 years there comes college for her, which I can't even think about without panic. My job position was cut out after I dedicated 12 years of my life to helping people as a medical assistant. Winning this contest would make both of our dreams come true.
Sincerely, Janel
