Ellen; I have a Mother in Law that is 72 ish and lives alone in deplorable conditions in Philadelphia. I was last over to visit her for the Christmas Holiday. Roaches and filth everywhere. She has all boys and one girl, 8 children. I refuse to go over her house again, it is just to bad. She needs a massive makeover. Demolition/row house. I was thinking of sending house cleaning service to her house. That would be the Christian thing to do. Maybe you could help her for Mothers Day....

Dear Ellen,

I love to look at your show each day I can. I'm a 50 yr old female, mother of 2 grown children who suffered a stroke last year 16 days before my 49th birthday. When I was in the mist of siffering a stroke, I was in the middle of sewing my daughter's wedding outfit. My daughter was getting married on April 4th 2012, and on March 3rd, 2012, I was rushed to St. Catherines Hospital in hammond IN. The staff and doctors at the hospital did and amazing job on getting me well, so I wouldn't miss my daughter's wedding. so to my surprise, I was released on March 29th 2012 with a rolling walker, a brace on my left leg, and very little strength or ability to move on my own, but i still had 2 finish getting my daughter's dress for her wedding done. I have to have constent help in my daily routines. It is heartbreaking to go from able to disabled. From day to day, I keep the faith by watching your show and i pray that soon I will get back to my normal self. but the road is long and hard, due to me not having any insurance and the state has not approved me for medicaid, so I get no therapy at all to try to recover fully. So when you make me laugh on your show, I cry tears of joy that I'm still here. Over the holiday, I was in the mist of trying to get a car, which I did get from a dealer who sold me a lemon. This car was to help me get to an d from doctor's visit, get my medicines, and get groceries, pay bills and etc. because it's hard each day to ask a family member to take off work to help me out. I have my Mom living with me to help me with my daily routine, but she doesn't drive and now this car dealer sold me a lemon and we still can't get around. my family helps as much as they can but i can't continue to ask them to lose money off their paycheck to benefit me. so, please keep me smiling by making your shows enjoyable to watch.

Thank You for being You (Ellen) tina haythorn

Hi Ellen,
My seven month old daughter and I are watching your show right now and we LOVE that you are giving to new mothers! I am a new mother and I desperately need a car. My husband and I had to move away from family for a job and I am so lonely and we only have one car. I even went through a depression because of not being able to get out of the house. I love being a stay at home mother. It's the best job anyone could ask for. But it's really tough and hard to make friends when I don't have a car. We also are putting all our money to our debt. Last year was the hardest year financially for us and we had to live off of credit cards. It was the worse feeling in the world to know we would soon have our first daughter but had to rely of family and friends for all her things. We don't EVER want to be like that again and God blessed us with a job and now we are trying to get out of the debt we had to live off of. So a car payment is not affordable for us right now. I normally don't ask like this but I thought why not try. If I don't get a car I just want to thank you for giving to other moms. Mothering is such a hard job and EVERY mother deserves something. I love you Ellen!

Dear Ellen,
You have the best talk show I love how your always determined to help people in need. Your enthusiasm and personality. My mother watch your show all the time and I watch them with her when I am home from work in time. For Mother's Day I would like for her to get her teeth fixed. She would love for them to get fixed , but we do not have the money. My mother was bullied in middle school and got her face slammed by a metal door in the school building. It ****tered a lot of her teeth. My mother's mouth is terribly destroyed and she is only in her mid 40's. when we take pictures she does not smile at all and I always wondered why; now I know the reason. Ms. Ellen I would like to take pictures with my mom for Mother's Day of her with her great, big, white, new smile please help her.

Dear Ellen, it is so wonderful for all that you give and help so many. I am asking for a Young Mother with eight needy Children. As of tommorrow they will be homeless. I have tried to do all I can to help them, but this time I am lost. I do not have the resources to get them a home. I am so at my wits end and now I am reaching out to ask for help. They are such Sweet, deserving Children and have endured so much. They all want to live with the Father, but he is homeless to. With open arms, I have let them stay with me, but now my Mobile Home court has put the Law down against me. If you could Please help this Mother and Father , on Mothers Day, it would be a Great Answered Prayer to the entire Family. I know you are so good to your Mother. She is so Lucky to have a Wonderful Daughter like you. Everyone that you have helped needs to give Special Thanks to God and You. Thank you, for reading and I am somewhat shameful to ask. God Bless You, Always. from Jan in Iowa.
