Adoptable Pets of the Week

APOLLO

  • Breed: Ragdoll
  • Gender: Male
  • Born in 2010
  • Mellow and loving
  • FIV+, but otherwise healthy

Apollo is a large, ragdoll-mix cat with striking good looks. Eating, napping and snuggling are his favorite activities, though his caregivers believe he might also enjoy going for walks on a harness.

Born in 2010, Apollo tests positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) but is otherwise in good health. FIV-positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration, and many cats with FIV live with other non-infected cats without any problems.

Apollo lost his home when his person lost his job and was forced to move. Despite this tough break, he is a very calm, friendly and accepting cat. He is affectionate and loves people. He's just so mellow and loving, there's got to be a home out there for him somewhere!

SALLY

  • Breed: Labrador retriever mix
  • Gender: Female
  • Born in 2008
  • Happy, affectionate and wiggly
  • Being three-legged doesn't slow Sally down

This happy, affectionate, wiggly girl doesn't mind getting around on three legs. Sally loves meeting new people, playing with other dogs, toys, meals and treats. She may love food a little too much (she is part Lab, after all), but she been working on losing some weight, and will need a family that will help her maintain her new figure.

Born in 2008, Sally is great with people and other dogs. Sally misses having a real home with somebody to love.
Missing a leg doesn't make Sally any less of a wonderful companion. Her biggest special need is love!

Apollo and Sally are a part of our "Love is Special" adoption campaign. For a limited time, we're waiving adoption fees for our special needs pets and offering free flights home for the first 5 dogs and 5 cats adopted before March 31. Just mention this promotion in the "additional comments" section of the adoption application.
