Adoptable Pets of the Week

Tux

  • Breed: Labrador retriever mix
  • Gender: Male
  • Born in 2004
  • Friendly and outgoing, Tux loves all people
  • Loves other dogs, but needs a feline-free home

This dapper Lab mix is a friendly, silly, delightful dog! He loves people and is excited to step out for a jog or a stroll with you. Tux also enjoys petting time and just wants to be your best friend.
Born in 2004, Tux doesn't understand why he's without a home. Sadly, his person became physically disabled and could no longer care for him. Tux is so sweet to everyone he meets, including children. He just wants to be wanted. On a recent sleepover, he got along great with two teenagers, but more than anything, this wonderful dog just wants to find somebody to love. Tux is not good with cats, but doggie play buddies are just fine.

Do you have room in your heart and home for this handsome boy who's all dressed up with nowhere to go?

Peekaboo

  • Breed: Domestic short hair
  • Gender: Female
  • Born in 2012
  • People-oriented
  • Loves typical kitten play

Though her name may suggest it, Peekaboo would never hide from you. Besides, her loud purr would give her away every time.
This silky beauty will jump for feather toys, race after laser pointers, and snuggle in your lap; all the typical kitten things we humans expect and enjoy. She was born in April 2012.

Peekaboo was found by campers in the wilderness, and she's searching for a loving and playful home.

I would adopt Merrell if I could but I live in Tennessee. I have outside cats that I feed because people,e have left them when they move. I don't let them go hungry and I try to get them fixed when I can afford it. Love your show Ellen. Deanna

Ellen,

I don't know if you will see this but I will try anyways. I watch your show all the time and I seen the one where you cried bc they took the dogs aways from the family which you gave the dog to them. It touched my heart and I also have a dog named Bianca and I love her so much. Bianca has a hematoma on her left ear and has to have surgery on it. Unfortunately I don't have the funds to pay for it. I saved some money but still need more, Maybe you can help with some of the funds and I can donate my time to volunteer at an animal shelter. My email is biancaroybal5@gmail.com. Thank you
