Adoptable Pets of the Week

Merrell

  • Breed: Domestic short hair
  • Gender: Male
  • Born in 2010
  • People-oriented
  • Loves to play and snuggle with other cats

You'll love Merrell. Born in 2010, he's still a kitten at heart. He loves to play. And he's so friendly, that the minute you walk in his room, he'll run right up to greet you and ask for some loving. He can be mischievous! He's good with other cats, and you can see him playing and snuggling with them, but every now and then, he just gives them a swat! He's sort of a rascal. Merrell came to Best Friends because he'd been living outdoors, and the person looking after him and his friends had to move. He's much happier as an indoor cat! He'd be a thousand times happier to find his first home and family.

Luna

  • Breed: Shepherd
  • Gender: Female
  • Born in 2008
  • Friendly and mellow girl who loves people
  • Great with other dogs and enjoys playtime

Luna is a friendly, mellow girl who loves people. This well-mannered dog patiently waits at the gate, hoping somebody will stop by to give her attention. She does well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. Other than some extra pounds she's trying to lose, Luna is in good health. Born in 2008, she sadly lost her home when her person was arrested. While she is very well-behaved, Luna does get a little anxious when she's in her crate, an anxiety she will need to work through. Luna would be so grateful to find a home with somebody special to love.
