•     Breed: Domestic medium hair
  •     Gender: Male
  •     Born in 2012
  •     Great with other cats and kids alike
  •     Loves a good belly rub

I’ll mesmerize you with my golden eyes!

Pernell is a true kitten and loves attention, especially belly rubs. He is great with people and other cats, and would love a home with children. This playful ball of purrs is precious, and he would love to grow up as a part of your family!

  •     Breed: Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix
  •     Gender: Female
  •     Born in 2010
  •     Loves to play with dogs
  •     Prefers a feline-free household

You'll love Lucy! A sweet shepherd mix, Lucy wins hearts with her easygoing ways. She gets along great with everyone, introducing herself to new people nicely and politely. She loves playing with other dogs, but hasn't been very trustworthy around cats.

Born in October 2010, Lucy and her sister had been with a rescue group in Arkansas since they were just six weeks old. She used to have a skin condition, but since arriving at Best Friends, we haven't seen that condition relapse -- just signs of what a great girl she is, and she's really hoping you'll think she's the perfect fit for your home!

IV+ can live long, healthy lives, and it's very hard for other cats to catch. Anthony is a lover, not a fighter! If you're looking for an easygoing guy, Anthony would be the perfect fit for your home!

Best Friends adopts to all of the United States and Canada. Please contact Best Friends Animal Society right here.  See all the animals that need homes... at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

I adopted a wonderful dog 15 years ago. Since her death I have been lost. I now live in a senior building and can only have a small dog. I have looked on adoption or recure for a yorkie or yorkie mix, but the fees or $300. or more.
