My family can kind of relate to this cat story. When we moved, one of our cats was ran away from home because it was unfamiliar. We searched for him for days. Two weeks later, our old neighbor called saying that he found our cat under his porch.

Dear Ellen,
I will try to make this short( Ha Ha)The first cat my husband and I had, named GY (Garfield Yoda)simply didapeared one day. We looked for him for weeks to no avail. My husband, who is alergic to cats, was heartbroken. I think he would have missed me less. 3 months later he simply showed up on our doorstep quite the worse for wear but our vet said he would be fine. He dissapeared when he was 5 and lived until he was 16. So I truly believe cats can find their way home especially if they are loved.
This is the first time I have ever written to anyone but I so enjoy your show . In 2009 I had a hip replacement and was housebound I watched you every week day. In Sept of 2012 I had an automobile accident and broke my neck and again I have looked forward to you and your show. Best of to you and your family and thank you for all the fun and laughter.

When a cat speaks, it's because it has something to say, unlike humans who are the great refuse containers of speech. And dealing with our cats, they really own the house we just pay the mortgage!
