Dear Ellen,
My family love watching your show it's like an addiction that we must watch it everyday. Your show inspired us in so many different ways, specially when you help people in needs. You also make us lough, cry and scream with excitements. Me and my hubby have three wonderful children who adores you as much as we do, we lived down under and would very much love to see your show when you come here. We are hoping we could get tickets to your show in Sydney.

Btw we wish you advance Happy Birthday and many many more years to come. God Bless Always Ellen :)

Kind regards,
Razal March

I am Ellen's biggest Australian fan. I, too, am from Louisiana like Ellen. I have followed her career from her early stand-up comedy days when she had that adorable mullet, wore baggy pants and had me rolling on the floor with laughter. Next, I was a big fan of her sitcom with Paige, Spence and Audrey. I still think the scenes with her 80s dancing moves in her living to prepare for going clubbing with a younger guy on a date were some of the funniest things I've ever seen. I was moved when she came out on the show and sad when the show ended, wishing her resiliance to come back even stronger. She did. I know it must have been a rough time for her. I was so happy when her talk show started. I had moved to Australia with my English hubby and was raising two small children. The show came on at odd hours here and it made me feel connected to the US, especially in times of crisis like the Hurricane Katrina floods. I remember seeing her bro Vance sing with one of my fave local bands Cowboy Mouth after the floods. She has an Australian connection with Portia, of course, so that made me feel closer, too. Mostly, I have always loved to dance. The show's intro always brimgs a huge smile to my face and makes me want to dance as well. Dancing makes any problems you are facing seem that bit smaller somehow. I was so excited to hear that Ellen was coming to Australia! Since I live in Sydney, I would love to be able to attend the Sydney show. Elizabeth Greaves

OK, firstly I'll own up ... I'm not your biggest fan, but I am a fan and I love watching your shows when they're shown outside of my work hours and I reckon I can get some time off to come along (I'll tell the boss where I'm going so I won't be throwing a sickie). I've signed up for World's Greatest Shave which is 14-17th March and raises money for the Leukemia Foundation, and I was thinking what if you were to shave me on TV?? How cool, and I wonder how many $ I could raise?? I did it about 8 years ago and only raised $110 which was disappointing especially since I went the #2 comb, this year I'm going to go the #4 so it's not too traumatic for my now teenage kids. (They're just out of therapy after last time!). So, whadyathink??

Where do I begin...? Firstly, if you ask my friends, most of my quotes start off with "Today on Ellen..." or "yeah, did you see them on Ellen?"
Love your show and have only been to America once and tried to get on but silly me, didn't realise you would be booked out about 4 months in advance - I tried about 2 weeks before I went to LA!!
My boyfriend and I often sit and watch your show (even when I'm supposed to be studying!) and eat our lunch over your hilarious comments and fabulous guests!
Would be an honor to even be in the same building as you and you inspire me greatly to live a better life and push to have gay marriage legalised everywhere (very dear friend of mine would love to marry here but can't...)!
Can't wait until you arrive to see how much funnier you can get with all the Aussie jokes that I'm sure you've got tucked away!!
There are many more deserving people in Australia and I would gladly have them take my seat but just wanted to enter on the off chance...! x

I am Australia's biggest Fan of Ellen because I watch her shows every Weekday (because they are not on the weekend. Which is an absolute nightmare because she always brightens up my day. But I watch her Youtube videos on the weekend instead of doing chores around the house.) I started watching the Ellen show two years ago an have not missed an episode since. Ellen makes me laugh so hard when she jokes around and also makes me jump up and down with glee when I hear the Ellen show theme song.

When I sadly lost my eight year old cousin from cancer in August, ever since I have looked up to ellen and my cousin as my inspirations because both of them love dancing. Ellen made me cope with this tragedy with her great sense of humour and also her animal lover trait we both share.

I was hoping and begging that Ellen would come to Brisbane in Queensland but still after several attempts at nagging, my family still can not afford to fly to Sydney or my existing hometown, Melbourne to see the number one person I want to meet.

I wish Ellen a Happy Birthday and I proudly say that she is 110% better than Oprah and still way better than Jimmy Kimmel.

First Ellen Rocks, I love her spirit her style, and confidence. Ellen has given me smiles on my face even in the mist of my pain I lost my 21 year old daughter and have been battling in court for 8 years for her daughter, forced to retire on disability. almost lost our home, our car just went out and we are struggling. But when i watch Ellen seeing her positive attitude, her witty ways that can only make you smile, I love dancing and no matter how bad i feel when she starts dancing I have to jump up although i just had back surgery i am learning to get my grove on, Atomic dog is my favorite song. Keep the joy and self confidence going your attitude helps many of us who are facing so much pain that we can forget about it and laugh and dance when we watch her show. I would love for me and my husband to celebrate in Australia it would ease some of the suffering we have had to endure almost every second of each day, But in spite if we are chosen I am going to watch Ellen for healing and joy that is lost in the pain of losing my only daughter.

Ellen -
I am asking that you send my sister-in-law Debbie Ferguson. She NEEDS a break, her last year and a half has been hell! 1st her dad dies then her step dad dies, found out her mother has colon cancer, THEN my brother, her husband dies from ALS in March 2012 if that was not enough....finds out Their youngest daughter is addidicted to pain meds and gets her through rehab. Now the older daughter is in ICU w/blood clot to the lung.

She is such a "Care Giver" her entire marriage to my brother she has been the definition of loving spouse/soul mate. He suffered from "RP" Retna-Pigmentousa...dibiltating eye condition. He has been considered legally blind since late 30ish. She literally had to drive him, lead him everywhere they went. She never uttered one word of complaint then at the end of 2010 he was diagnosed with ALS and was gone in March of 2012 abouth 15 months after the diagnosis.

SHE NEEDS A BREAK AWAY AND A SMILE.....PLEASE SEND HER TO AUSTRALIA

Come to New Zealand while you're there Ellen...just a wee flight across "the ditch" as we kiwis put it and you're in the most beautiful country in the world.
If your budget doesn't stretch that far, then I'm happy to pop across the ditch and come to the show...I'm from Christchurch NZ, (home of the 7.1 earthquake) and a therapist working with children survivors of the big quakes here. If you're after a slightly lighter lighter bit for the show I'd be happy to tell the story of when I lost my knickers in the Christchurch CBD one lunch hour....how can I get tickets!!

The Ellen Show is one of the best on TV. Ellen is more real that the others. I watch whenever I can. I may not get to watch every day because I work and put in a lot of overtime. I have been wanting to go to Australia for many many years. It has been my lifelong dream to visit that faraway country. I'm just awed by everything I read and see on travel channels. I've been telling my family that SOMEDAY I will get there. It's expensive to travel there. Thanks, Ellen for a great show. It would be great to win but if not, I understand.
