Hi Ellen, I just want to say a big thank you for being a part of my life when I needed laughter the most. In 2011 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, had a Mastectomy then 6 months of Chemotherapy followed by Radiotherapy everyday for 5 weeks, whilst I was undergoing all that treatment in just one year it was your show that I watched everyday, it was you that manage to make me laugh when I was lying on my couch feeling sick, you made me forget about what I was going through even if it was just for an hour everyday, but it was that hour everyday that helped me get through my ordeal. I just want to say I love you Ellen and thank you once again and it would be an honour to meet you and hug you. xoxo ♥

Hi Ellen
My name is Ashlee Ellyn Knight and i'm 14 years old and i'm writing this because as much as I would love to meet you, I think my Mum and Auntie sal would literally pee their pants to have an opportunity to meet you. So i'm writing this on there behalf to meet you when you come to Australia. My mum's name is Kerrie and her best friend is Sally but we call her Auntie Sal because she is so close to our family that she may as well be our Auntie. Sally has MS and life is hard for her, and it means the world to me to see her happy, laughing and smiling, and when she's with my Mum there are always happy but when there are both watching your show they are crying with laughter and peeing their pants.[Actually a little bit of wee does happen.]
Please make my dream of adding a little bit joy to what has become a diffulcult life for my Auntie Sal who is coping with her Multiple Sclerosis and the saddness it brings my Mum watching it happen.PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make me happy and make my dream come true by giving my Mum and my Auntie Sally an adventure of a life time. Yours Truly Ashlee Ellyn Knight

Hey Ellen, I feel like I know you personally as I've been watching you on TV for so long... you are always so funny, honest, outgoing, generous, actually VERY generous!! The amount of times I've cried whilst watching you help others is unbelievable!! You truly are a gem! I'm so pleased that you're finally heading 'Down Under'... I'm sure we'll all make you feel very welcome! I hope that I get the opportunity to see you live! Now that would be something I could tick off my 'bucket list'!! Keep dancing xxx

I don't know about Ellens biggest Australian fan, but I could be one of the smallest at 4ft 12. Seriously, how can you measure the magnitude of fandom?? Here's the thing- I have been away for 5 weeks, unable to watch in all that time. Today was my first day back, and I wouldn't have missed it for anything. It felt like home when I heard the opening words, I had the biggest smile on my face, I love the show, I love the sentiments, I love the example of kindness and compassion that Ellen brings to the world. She is my hero and her conduct in the world is inspiring to me.
I have a piece of artwork in an exhibition in St Kilda, Melbourne. Portia and Ellens relationship inspired it, and my plan is to sell it in the exhibition (for the price of a ticket to L.A!) If it sells, I will do another one for them, and I hope to be able to present it to them personally.

Honestly, what I really love about both you and the show is the look that you have when you are helping people! It is a look of absolute delight and it is evident that you really LOVE your job. Don't ever stop entertaining us with your enjoyment.

I DO love your show Ellen, but I would also love a chance to reconnect with Portia, after going to school with her at Melbourne Girls Grammar in year 10 and being quite close with her. I admire you both and am so happy you found each other.Whether it involves me or not, I hope you enjoy your trip here, and I am sure we will show you our famous laid back but excited Aussie hospitality. ENJOY! Much love, Justine xo

Ellen your show is the one hr of peace that i get during the day that i can pretend that i live a life of blissful silence whilst the four kids play outside! To be on your show would be a dream come true! At the age of 26 with fourkids studying a nursing degree and casual work i think a little r and r is due with my favourite talk show hostess!

HI ELLEN!
I actually remember when i first watched your show i was in my room and my family was in the lounge room watching a movie. I couldn't contain myself from laughing you were so hilarious and because i have quite a weird laugh (it actually sounds like a frog) my mum came in and said "Nikki what the bloody hell is so funny in there" and i repleid "ellen"
Ever since then every afternoon i have watched your show and when i have to stay at my grandams house i watch it with her she has never watched your show til last year and she was judgemental at first then she saw how kind hearted you are. Your kindness amazes me and how one person can just be joyful. I still get exicted when your show comes on im like a five year old in a candy store. You are the perfect talk show host and person you care not only about peoples needs but animals too and you really do make a deifference in peoples lives you're not just a comedian you do so much more f=or the community. It is my dream to see your show

Ellen, I have admired all that you represent for many years - a kind, generous and loving human being. I've watched your talk show since mid-2003, screened on Foxtel (cable TV) and you have inspired me on a daily basis each and every day ever since. Your guests have also been inspirational, some of them willing to do whatever crazy thing you ask of them, like going in the dump tank and donating money to the Breast Cancer Society. For 10 years you have been in someone's livingroom, somewhere in the world, giving them hope to carry on, no matter what challenges lie ahead. Your generosity to needy families has been marvellous, but more than ever your love for animals and what you do for them is awe-inspiring. I have a dear friend, Fernanda, who loves animals as much as you do and I would often say that if we were living in America I would somehow get her on your show so that you can hear all the wonderful things she does. That was yonks years ago, and only a pipe-dream - and now you're coming to Sydney and oh dear heavens I would give my false teeth to be able to get a pair of tickets for her ... and me ... to attend your show in Sydney. I will be 72 years old/young on 9th May and it would be out of this world if I could boast to my six grandchildren that I've got tickets to your show. Ellen, there are probably people who deserve to get tickets more than me, but I reckon I've been your Number 1 fan since day one - way back when Ozzies only spoke of the Oprah Winfrey and David Letterman shows. I love you Ellen, you are a very special human being and the world is so much better for having you in it and being the spokesperson for all things that matter in an ever evolving world. Hi my name is Karen. I live in Burnie Tasmania, Australia. I would love to go to Melbourne or Sydney to see your show. I am a mum and a grandma. I have three adult children and five grandchildren. I am 54 years young. I have been watching the show for quite sometime now probably not the ten years it has been on but long enough to remember when you and Portia married. I was so proud of you. I am like Portia. I too have an American wife. She lives in Puyallup Washington.
