Huey

• Breed: Domestic short hair
• Gender: Male
• Born in June 2012 (just a baby)
• Affectionate and healthy
• Playful, gets along with other kitties

Huey is a dream cat. He just loves your attention, and he's an expert snuggler. Born in June of last year, he's still a youngster, and when he's not cuddling up a storm, he can play with the best of them. Huey came to Best Friends along with 20 other kittens who were living outdoors, and whose caregiver had to leave in a hurry.

He'd make a fabulous addition to someone's home. He seems to get along with other kitties, and he's sociable enough to walk right up to you, asking for love. He'd be so grateful to you for giving him his first ever place to call home.
 

Darcy

• Breed: Shepherd
• Gender: Female
• Born in 2009
• Great with other dogs
• So friendly and playful

There is not a shy bone in Darcy's body! Give her attention, and you'll get the most enthusiastic, boisterous greeting. She can't help herself. Anyone could be "the one," and she positively cannot wait to go home!

But all of that enthusiasm does mean her manners could use some work. She tends to jump on people, but she's working on that. When she's bursting with energy and that door opens to the great outdoors, sometimes she can't help but answer the call of the wild. So keep an eye on her or she just might dash on out there. She loves to play and gets along great with other dogs.

Darcy is still quite young and overall is very healthy. She does, however, have an allergy to fleas, which causes some skin problems. Nothing a little medication can't help. This precious girl dreams of a family who appreciates her energy and enthusiasm for life. Are you up for changing a good dog's whole world by adopting her?
