just watched your show about a magician, the 1 who ate the mint then pulled it out thru his neck with an ipod headset, it looked awsome but when he got audiance & home viewers to participate with the 9 playing cards, i just had to try it as we dont get a live feed here in Australia & i was really amazed to find it worked. so glad i always watch your show when i remember, i think you are great & you have great guests, thku for a great talkback show

My daughter and I just watched Ellen on our dvr and tried the trick with Justin Flom and to our amasement it worked. That was an awesome trick!!

Card trick from today, part 1 :)
You have 9 cards, you can pick them at random from a deck. Fan out the cards, and focus on the 3rd card from the left. Turn the cards over, keeping them in the same order. Then, spell out the cards number (i.e Ace would be 3 cards down, Five would be 4 cards down). If you have any remaining cards, put them down on top of the pile.
Card trick part 2 :)
Put 2 cards down, then put the remaining cards down. Spell out the suite of the card (i.e. Clubs put 5 cards down, Diamonds put 8 cards). Put the remaining cards down on top of the pile. Last step- put down 4 cards, flip over the next card, and that will be your original card!
