I tried to win 12 days of giveaways and I feel I deserve to win all 12 Days Of Giveaways because I'm mother of 5 ,married after 15 years been solo mum ,haveing very hard times in our life but try hard to be happy and posative exactlly like you say ,my husband lost his job cuse of bad economy in age of 62 !!!and and and .......................so no house ,no car ,still keep our hope for tomarow and new sun shin ,
I feel we have experienced the depths of what it means to be alive, and from everything I've LIVED, LOST, and FOUND, I have let go and accepted all of it as my pathway to peace.so try to enjoy my moments .

I feel I deserve to win all 12 Days Of Giveaways because of my 10 year journey that leads me here to where I am today. It started back in March 2003. At that time I was 31 years old. I had became unable to work due to debilitating medical issues with my spine. I had to go on a temporary medical leave (ILOA). While I was on that, my workplace fired me. It was not only my job, It was my career. Right after that due to financial struggles being without a job and no income, I then lost my apartment,
my car, and went into debt. I worked very hard shortly after that time to get into computer tech school, once I got through all the red tape, phone calls, and letter writing the State approved my application at the Chubb Institute. I was living temporarily at a new home at that time in New Jersey. I was doing great in school focusing on a promising future and new career, until once AGAIN, I lost my home due to unfortunate cir***stances and conditions where I was staying. Just when I was feeling confident and had a little pride, I found myself without a home, no car, and I had to discontinue school & put my career goals on hold AGAIN. I said to myself and others, how many times can a young ambitious woman be kicked down? I still kept moving on and doing what I needed to. NEVER GIVING UP!
Now, today I am unable to walk, and still paying for student loans that I have nothing to show for.. I woke up one morning, and just like that, was suddenly unable to walk at the age of 36. It has been 5 years now using these crutches. It's been a long tough journey for me, but I never lost the faith. Some of the best doctors tired to aid me to no avail. I just recently finally got to the right doctors who could help me and figure out what was causing my condition after all these years..My prognosis was looking grim for awhile, but not any longer. I will soon have surgery and extensive therapy and be able to continue what I was working so hard for through all of this. I will be walking just the same and as good as when I did before this happened. I may have been set back alot of years, but I don't see it as a misfortune, but rather as a godsend. I learned alot through it and have a whole new perspective on life. I am so full of life , happy, and an outgoing person. I am very EXCITED to have this surgery! It is going to feel soooooooo good to be able to stand up again on my own two feet and have the daily interaction with people that I've missed for so long.

Dear Ellen I'm not writing you for a charity case but I would love to win something for my daughter of the age 16.... Since everybody else is telling you about their life let me tell you mine but of course I have told you before... I am a single mom who had lost my job back in April of last year and also my daughters dad he left me a week after I had lost my job ... Have been doing odd jobs to try to catch up on bills which isn't working too good I am facing a eviction notice, their about to shut off my gas which is my heat and my cells phones have been shut off my cable has been shut off oh yea and so has the house phone I'm almost 3 months behind on the rent try to pay them what I can but like I said tryin to keep up with other bills to at least keep them onn so if at all possible could you let me win something for my daughter... For Christmas all I could get her was a pack of under wear and 4 pair oof socks which only cost $1.00 each and a pack of perfume which was $3.00 and some bath wash that was $3.00 Oh yea and a camera I got from the pawn shop really wish I could've gotten her more but that was all I could afford at the time !!!

Hi Ellen, Im not writing to send any sob story..because god has blessed me with a wonderful lady to share the rest of my life with..she is truely amazing, and we watch you everyday and laugh so hard! you are truely a very special person, whom has a heart as big as mine..I love to give just like you! if im not chosen to win could you make me a charity case.. im serious my home is falling apart around me literaly we borrowed against my 401k to build and didnt have enough to finish now the rood is leaking horribly and the wrap around the outside is worn and falling off the electric in the trailer is non working we use drop cords everywhere my car is broken my sons truck is broken but driveable we buy 90 percent of our groceries from the reduced bins at the stores i am a single income family at 12 bucks an hour in this economy and it is very hard to make ends meet 40 a week for insurance my husband is disabeled but is 1200 dollars short of his work credits so his ssi is based on my income which they say is enough to live on he got a chck for 39 dollars no joke!!! last month because i was lucky enough to get overtime we got nothing life is tough these days my daughter is getting married and has to use her income tax to pay for it because we can not help her. just reaching out needing some help thanks for letting me vent and enter love your show and your giving ways even if i do not win...

Hi Ellen I have enjoyed your show for years and I love this time of year.But not this one as I ended up in hospital with a serious illness and was forced to leave my work as I am now confined to a wheel chair I don't need everything in the 12 days of giveaway but i would love o flt screen tv to watch while try to cope with my new disability also if you could find it in that huge heart you have something for my grand kids unfortunately i have had to put out over $15,000.00 for my power chair i had no insurance.
