Ellen, this is so hard for me but I don't know where else to turn. I've dealt with multiple disablities for years, but I worked through the pain in order to be able to have my family get together for good food and memories, not so much the gifts (although when the funds were there, gifts were too) My health has deteriorated over the past 6yrs and I now live in a one bedroom almost efficiancy style apartment (Its a roof over my head) Christmas has always been my favorite holiday, because of what it means, the celebration of the birth of my lord and savior, some of my favorite memories were stringing popcorn, baking with my mom and cooking and gathering the family. I love decorating the tree, and my home. This is the 1st Christmas in 45 years, I don't have a tree, no decorations, no money to bake cookies or cook a meal and DEFINATELY no money for gifts(thankfully my kids are grown & understand) I love the look on someones face when you get them a gift that they love, whether it's .50cents, or 5 dollars, I'm thankful beyond belief that I have family that loves me, but the joy for me is in the giving and there is no sign of christmas in my home, although I keep hoping there will be some miracle which will return the joy to my heart. Please if you can help in any way, you don't know what that would mean to me.

I went to Wallgreens to purchase a holy cow ball launcher for a christmas gift and they are all sold out. My sister collects cow stuff and I reallly need one. Any suggestions? Love the show!
You make me and my husband laugh every day even when we dont want to. My husband works nights and sleeps through the day, but sets his alarm for when your show comes on so he wont miss it. I am unemployed due to health issues and my husband works very hard and at his place of employment, he is not permitted to ever have sick days. If he gets sick and has to take off, he gets points and 8 points and he gets fired. God help us if he ever gets sick - for as long as he is employed there, which we are very thankful for, but he can never take off sick. How inhuman is that?
Ellen, It is so nice what you do for people. I'm sure you are making lots of smiles for Christmas this year. In the shadow of such darkness from the Sandy Hook Newtown tragedy, wars and abuse everywhere....thanks for what you do. Have a wonderful Christmas yourself.

My comment is how much I Love Ellen like every one else. I am a single mom on disability raising 2 boys on my own. I would be happy to win anything so that I could give it to my boys for a Christmas gift. I'm divored after 17yrs being with him. He left 2mths after I was injured on my job. Then I lost my job 2 mths after he left. I have 3 bulging disc, 2 slipped disc, and a pinched nerve all affecting the rt side of my body. It is hard to even be writing about myself after the tragic we had in Connecticut. My heart bleeds for the families. My prayers are with that whole community. I know there is always some1 worst off then me. Ellen you are a blessing to the many families that you help. You are Loved so much.
