Hello Ellen. I know you tape your shows one day ahead, but today was a very sad day and I really needed you today more than anything to put a smile not only on my face but in my heart. I'm sure you heard of the horrible shooting in Connecticut that happened today and it has just left me heartbroken as I'm sure many people are. I can't even begin to imagine how the parents are feeling. I lost my 10 month old daughter to SIDS in 2001, so I know what the loss of a child feels like and it is the worst thing you could ever feel, but to lose a part of you like this is unfathomable. I have to be honest and say it was hard to try and get my mind off of this tragedy, but watching you did help. Thank you again Ellen for bringing a little happiness to my day. Have a good weekend.
