you are the best. I watch u as often as I can when I am teaching 4th graders.
I love watching Ellen's show it allows me to laugh and smile. I would really love it if I would win the 12 days of Christmas as you are going to be drawing it on my birthday the 3rd of January. Wow!! what a birthday present that would be! Since my accident I have not been able to hold down a full time job has be almost impossible! Even when I explain to employers that I have a disability they use it against me to terminate me! I was shocked when it actually happened. I will not be telling any employer again about my disability again!! Here in Canada employer are to make accomodations for those with disabilities not terminate them. Boy, did I find out different! Life has been tough since 2000 when I had my accident. I sure hope that 2013 will be better and this family can turn a corner.

Merry Christmas with many happy new years to come, I am so blessed this Christmas, I was allowed to adopt my 2 beautiful granddaughters ages 8 & 11 years on 12/06/12 money is so tight this year, as a single father of an autistic 7 year old son I am so blessed to have them with me because Cheyanne and Katelyn lost their parents the state thought it was to overwhelming for an old man to care for 3 small children, my granddaughters were in foster care for nearly 5 years. We are together for Christmas this year kids are doing great. I am not single by choice after our son Christian was born on 02/04/05 Julia became ill, she requires full time nursing care after having severe strokes, I take our son to see her and she knows who we are but she is so fragile, not able to say but yes and no, no control over the use of her hands and arms, and she can no longer walk. Our life had been put on hold till the adoption finally took place, our legal expenses are now behind us, so next year is truly looking up we are free to live again as a family. There are so many grandparents out there who are stuck in the same trap I am one of the few who would gain custody of orphaned grandchildren, and even fewer who make it to adopt. Girls went 38 months with us in their lives or even seeing family, they were only 2 and 5 when they were orphaned thin 7 & 10 when I gained custody, 4 and 5 foster homes separated without each other.

i haven't been a faithful watcher for years but Ellen has really convinced me that she really cares for all the people she helps and I have, ,well I have been depressed for 17 years since I lost my 15 yr old baby boy in a car wreck in 1995. His older brother Josh was driving and besides horrendious shock he is fine. Its been a long road getting up everyday and going on,,but GOD keeps me here for something. At first I got one little Shih Tzu boy to keep me busy, then I got a little girl also. Had some puppies and enjoyed them for about 12 years and just this year lost my fat little girl,, they made me get up in the mornings now their gone. I was lost again,, Ellen brings a genuine smile to my face and thats awsome to me,,thank you Ellen!
I just wanted to say I think ur amazing u do so much for people and u truly do care not like most tv host ,I think ur very real and super funny I try to rush home every day so I can watch ur she ,so MERRY CHRISTMAS TO UR FAMILY AND LOVED ONES FROM FROM MY 11YR OLD SON HOUSTON & I and have a great NEW YEAR MY ALL UR DREAMS COME TRUE!!!!
I have had a very bad year. Two of my very good friends died. My other friend took a stroke. My beloved Harmony (dog) I had to put her to sleep. My son his girlfriend and he broke up after the purchased a engagement ring (he went with her 3 years). My brother took ill he is 81. I'm 67 and my husband is 72 we help everyone in anyway we can. Life has been really a downer this year. I pray the New Year brings new adventure and hope for all that have been through so many trial and tribulations. May our Nation come together as one and work to Unite and not divide. Please if not me continue to help those who need your most loving caring extension of our hand to help those who need it and to light up their world. I think you are the most caring, loving, giving human being I have ever seen on TV. I use to be such a fan of Winfrey show she couldn't hold a candle to you. Thank you for all you do.

When I watched that segment of the show, I lauged so hard after HB got her new eyes. That was great....
I have been going thru so much this year,I just want to get a chance to put a smile on my kids face this year.It's such a struggle and it's hard raising six kids.We have to buy clothes, shoes and etc.And after all that is done we behind on our truck note and it's messing up.Am like things seems couldn't get worse.When we of lease try to save up for bunkers, living room, dining room and us a bedroom set.We always have to do something with our kids and I have no problem but I feel like am about to have a nervous breakdown and getting stress out.It's even more stress out with getting my kids nothing for christmas and it break my heart to see other kids with some and mine don't have nothing.My husband and I have been married for 15 years and I would to see a smile on there faces and be debt free.My kids are Brandon 16, Tevin 15, Kevin 15, Catherine 13, Makita 11 and Nicholas 6. They keep coming to me and saying mom and daddy we getting something for christmas.I just have to tell them we don't have the money.And to see there faces after that I just break down in tears.My husband has lost his job because he has been late for work because my truck was messing up.So it has been hard on the both us.I just need a blessing and I no that my lord is watch over all of us.
