Drew Barrymore on Her Daughter, Olive
A lot has changed since the last time Drew was here -- she got married and had a baby! She told Ellen all about it, including the moment she came up with her daughter's name.

Olive was my Mother's name so it means the world to me. How cool. I hope the name becomes popular. So unusual to hear it again.
Thanks Drew!
Are you tired of going office daily? Earn 50$ per hour working from home with Google! I get paid over $87 per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I'd be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Here is what I've been doing, http://www.GoogleCash.fab17.com
i was so happy to hear that drew named her baby olive. that was my mothers name and her mothers name. growing up, i thought the name was the funniest thing......but it is soo dear to me now. you do not here it often. my mom is not with me anymore. she would of been 89yrs last wk. ......so i love to hear the name of olive , it berings back memories.
What is NOT to love about Drew Barrymore! She is so hip and cool, but grounded at the same time. You cant listen to her speak and not smile. Its refreshing to see celebrities as genuine. LOVE the show!
I quit working at shoprite and now I make $35h - $80h. how? I'm working online! My work didn't exactly make me happy so I decided to take a chance on something new. after 4 years it was so hard to quit my day job but now I couldn't be happier. Heres what I do, http://www.Work27.com
NOT REALLY COMMENTING ON THE SHOW TODAY JUST WANTED TO COMENT ON YOU. EVEN THOUGH THINGS ARE SUCH A STRUGGLE AND I LOST MY JOB AND SOMETIMES IT SEEMS THE WORLD IS PUSHING ME BACK YOU ALWAYS PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE. WE MAY LOSE EVERYTHING BUT WE WILL NOT GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT AND WITHOUT JOY IN OUR HEARTS
I really thought Drew Barrymore named her baby "Olive" because she was the voice of Olive in the animated children's movie, Olive, the Other Reindeer!!!
This is such a breath of fresh air. I am so glad for her. Ellen, of course, is such a joy too. I believe that babies like Olive are born so well adjusted, per se, because the mother had a great pregnancy. Babies feel stress and all things one goes through. Apparently, Drew had a good pregnancy and now she has her baby, who will change her life forever. Congrats!
I love it when Drew is on. She is so cute, and has child like mannerisms, especially when talking about her daughter Olive. I had tears of Joy in my eyes the whole interview. She looks so happy. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everybody.
love your show. just had my gall bladder removed and sure wished i was @ any of your shows... annie
I love Ellen
I always have enjoyed Ellen's humor. She and Drew were great together on the show, really playing on each other. Drew is a beautiful woman inside and out. I have alot of respect for her. We don't see many celebs like her, especially women. She just seems like such a thoughtful, grateful and caring person. I think the name "Olive" shows that, like the character in the Christmas movie. Wish her all the happiness in the world.
Not to burst any bubbles, but.....my youngest son was a dream baby. He slept through the night as soon as he came home from the hospital, he was sweet and quiet and pleasant, he was perfect. Then he turned 6 months old and I became convinced that he had spent that first 6 months hoarding sleep so that he'd never have to again. He's now 10 years old and to this very day he doesn't like to sleep and does so only to the absolute minimum. :)
You are my highlight of everyday ! I need you to put a smile on my face and bring me back to happiness. All the wonderful things you do for these needy families gets me right in the heart ! My sister and I call each other during commercials to talk about the show and laugh about what's been going on . Keep up the Great work and Thank you for being you . I'd like to Wish You and Your Beautiful Wife a very Merry Christmas and also you staff who are also hilarious ! Much love to you and yours !
Love,
Sherry Haldeman
All that came to mind was Popeye. However, giving some thought to it, it is a VERY comforting name. An everyday type bowl of comfort. Congrats on the baby and you did really GOOD with the name Olive.
