Hi Ellen I'm just curious, are you already giving out tickets to your 12 days of giveaways? We're not even in July. Don't mind me, I'm not complaining if you are I just thought something must be wrong with my computer.
Have a terrific Mother's Day celebration with your mom. Tell her Happy Mother's Day for me. She raised one heck of a giving daughter.
Always, Armida
Hi Ellen, I watch your show everyday and would love to be in the audience for the 12 days giveaway. You are such a generous person always helping others. Keep up the great job!
Dear Ellen,
There are not enough words to describe and thank you for all your joy and kindness that you give every single day to all the people. Ellen in my country we do not get your signal so I started to watch the shows by YouTube, after I while I realized that your show was on DirecTV so I changed to it and since then it has been amazing. I record your show and after work I see it, it is so hilarious, all the pranks, interviews, histories, jokes. It is just an hour but an hour that makes us forget about problems and enjoy life.
I would like to share to you that on January 2013 I had the opportunity to travelled to the united states and of course I decided to visit the California state not only because of the greatest highlands but also to have the opportunity to stop by warner and be on your show, which unfortunately could not happen ,I could not get the tickets, however I visited the warner studious, in which the last stop was your studio and OMG it was awesome, be able to be on the studio, feel the energy it was really amazing. Unfortunately the Ellen store was closed so I could not get a souvenir to take back home, however I am really thankful to have the opportunity of being just there. I would really appreciate it if someday I could be in your show and would love even more if I can be a part of the 12 days of giveaways. I will buy the tickets and pack my bags immediately.
I also take this opportunity to wish you the best for this season of your show , full of success, happiness , dances and joy for you , your wife, your family, your friends, and all the members of your show.
Thank you for taking the time to consider our request,

I just turned 66 years old on april 30th. I have watch Ellen since she started her talk show. I'm not very good at computers and I am still trying to understand facebook. I tried to write once but I don't think it went through. One of my most favorite episodes was the first time Ellen spoke with Gladys. I laughed so hard I was crying. Like eveyone else I would love to win tickets to her give away show. My problem would be what daughter to bring with. I have three wonderful daughters and I don't think I could pick one so good luck to the lucky winner out there! Ellen, thank you for making me smile!
Hello Ellen from upstate South Carolina. I love your show, but I don't get to watch it all the time because of work. When I do get to watch it, I find you so entertaining it makes me want to watch it as often as I can. I believe that you are one of my favorite talk show host. I saw your program today, 5/3 and would like a change to win tickets to the 12 days of giveaways. I thought I would give it a shot even though I probably won't win, just like the Publisher's Clearing House, but thought I would try. Best regards.
I was an only child of a very wonderful mother, Joyce. She had Lupus n over the 25 years she came so close to dying they gave up. We did not, we called her Enegizer Bunny. I would bath her, redo the sheets, often more than one in the day and again in the night. She was always saying how sorry she was but I just laughted. Thanks what you do for family. This last journey lasted over 2 1/2 years and I had to leave my job to take care of her and my toddler ( mom was up most nights in pain and me helping her, then my daughter would be raring to go all day and it took its toll on my health and lack of sleep
My daughter was only 4 at the time and was the best little nurse for her grandma. WE couldn't leave the house much so I had to be creative for her to have a happy, fun home life through all of this. Mom got down to 64 lbs at the end and her kidney shut down but that last day I asked her if she was going to get better again ad we were going out to lunch soon - she smiled weakly ( that last day she could not speak ) and shook her head yes. She would have suffer through anything to be with me and watch Christina grow up.
When she died we found out the shotty insurance said she died two months to late and that the over 65 took ove. We were not left with enough to pay the doctors, hospitals, her home taxes or to take her to Clearwater Beach to have her service at sunset over pier60...
Make no mistake - I would, without hesitation do it all over for my mother but I was not prepared for how many bills had pilled and feeling like my daughter and I will ever get out from under. My biggest wish would be to have help with the bills and get a safer car to drive my daughter and her Girl Scout Friends ( I am their Troop Leader) since I am driving a 1995 Jeep that seems to need more TLC that dream of getting.
I cant remember the last time I allowed myself to get somthing so coming to the great 12 days giveaway show would be like Christmas back when I was young nad had family and presents, smiles and love.
I make $82/hr while I'm traveling the world. Last week I worked by my laptop in Rome, Monti Carlo and finally Paris…This week I'm back in the USA.

Why Am I Alive and Well? It is a True Miracle!
Every day I wake up and ask myself this question. I am nothing special. I was just a workaholic accountant before my life changed. On December 20, 2010, while on vacation in Las Vegas with my husband and two close girlfriends having a good time, my life changed. I had a cerebral arteriovenous malformation hemorrhage aka brain aneurysms. I was lucking to in a public area and was near a major trauma center in less than 30 minutes. I was born with this problem. It is an abnormal connection between the arteries and the veins in the brain. Most of the time it shows up before age 25 and is fatal.
Somehow it waited until was 59 years old. Healthy normal female. But it did. I was lucky because at first because of my age they thought it might be a stroke. But when they took CAT scans they saw the intracranial hemorrhage caused by the aneurysm. I was lucky again because I had a wonderful doctor that had to stop the brain bleed by having surgery through my groin area to stop the bleeding in my head. It worked. But I was left in a coma for 6 weeks because of the brain trauma.
While in the coma I had basal spasms that should have been fatal. I also had two blood clots that traveled into my arm and leg. They had to surgically implant mesh to break up the blood clots. I also had a blot clot in my lung. They call this a embolism and was treated with antibiotics to treat the pneumonia it left me with.
When I started to come out of the coma into a comatose state I couldn't talk, stand, eat, know my love ones, everything in my mind was wiped clean. I had a tough road through multiple hospitals, rehabs, doctors, nurses, etc that help me come back. It took 7 months before I learned how to drink a little water with supervision. No one knew if I was every going to get better, since I was so unique. Even my neurologist in New Jersey was a pediatric neurologist.
It is now 2 years since that day. I am writing this letter to you. I can read, cook and even drive. My husband says I am about at 80% which is better than most people at 100%. I am reliving my life twice. My memory from 20-30 years ago is crystal clear. I remember old addresses, telephone numbers and events. My memories are so clear. I wonder why I was saved and I lost so many good friends to cancer at a young age.
Maybe I am alive to tell everyone what it is like to be in coma? That we hear everything, feel everything, hot and cold, wet or dry . We hear everything so do not talk about us but to us. We see flashes of people that have died, but not the ones we thought we would. That we feel pain so please do not assume we do not. We need hope and encouragement. That sometimes miracles do happen. It did for me.
