Thanksgiving Veggie Tray
Corney K. from Elk Grove, California sent in this photo of a vegetable tray she put together for Thanksgiving! She used leafy greens, celery, carrots, asparagus, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and squash -- so creative and cute! It looks good enough to gobble up!

The turkey face is a yellow squash, the eyes are slices of black olive, the beak is a triangle from the yellow bell pepper, and the waddle is a slice of the red bell pepper. They are held in place by short pieces of toothpick. After washing and cutting your veggies, the tray goes together rather quickly. Enjoy!

Hate to say this but Corney K did not put that platter together. My wife Karen Havling did as well as took the picture. She showed off her talent on a Facebook group page and the photo went viral.
