I am writing to you once again. Please receive this letter as a submission for your “new car” list. I would like to introduce you to my Mom, Elouise Monroe. You will not encounter any human being who knows or is acquainted with her who would sing anything other than her praises. All I hear from other is how special and kind and giving she is. She deserves so very much more than I am able to render. I pray that she is acknowledged for her divine, agape spirit.
My mother would never take credit for the wondrous benevolence she spreads to others. She just turned 82 a few weeks ago but you could never tell it from her appearance. She is fashion fit, personable: the life of the party, energetic, fit as a fiddle; hour glass dimensions, hip and compassionate. She is the strong leader of her siblings. She lost both of her parents and 4 siblings. She recently lost her baby, her only son, after serving as is caregiver for nearly two years (she lost 30 pounds, lost her hair and is still emotionally distraught). She will never recover from that loss but serves as the rock-of-Gibraltar to others.
Mom works for Senior Services. She has never not worked. She adheres to a populous that is younger than she is and she is kind and patient and accommodating to them all. Each and every client that is assigned to her, ask that she be their assigned companion. She gently accommodates their needs, their wants and their indulgences. Mother takes these folk to the doctor (sometimes having to place a wheelchair in the car and push them to their destination) or the dentist or the grocery store (she lifts and carries heavy bags out of the stores and into homes) or CVS or to Wendy’s, Olive Garden…you get the gist. She goes far and beyond her job description giving of her personal time and finances. She visits the sick and shut-in, bakes for far too many, loans money to beggars, and actually baby-sits (remember this is an 82 year old couple), provides transportation to those in need, clothes the less fortunate…. There is no end to her charitable character.
Well Mom’s car has died. She uses one of Dad’s ole hooptys. She is distraught that she has no air conditioning in the summer and spermatic heat in the winter. Living in Massachusetts, that is catastrophic. If you give on merit, Elouise Monroe is the clear victor. I do not have access to create a video. If you need more information please do contact me at telephone number 413/374-9390 (©) or 404/532-8522 or via e-mail address drdjmonroe@yahoo.com or by way of postal mail, P.O.Box 310484, Atlanta, GA 31131.
In anticipation I thank you.
In The Spirit
