I agree with Anthony, I do not like the word disabled either. In fact one time, I was in the hospital a nurse that was helping me came up with the perfect word/term. The word should be uniquely-abled. All people with 'dis'-abilities are able to do do something.
It's time to Dis the dis in dis-abled.
