First timer here! I'd like to share a story with you. I lost my cat Magic shortly after Christmas. It really upset me and I was heartbroken. I made a memorial Facebook page for him which you can view here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Magic-the-cat/374526515963...
I also started my Social Media Manager business and decided to name it Magic Cat Marketing after him. Recently, my wife and little girl adopted another cat from a place called Four the Paws. I was a little hesitant a first because I didn't want him to be a replacement for Magic. Not only was this company great but our new cat, Cinnabar is such a wonderful addition to our family. My daughter, Isabella Presley will be three on May 11th and she is so nice playing with her.
I decided to give back and volunteer my time by giving their Facebook page a makeover for free of charge. On that, I set up a donation page. They are a non-profit organization and could provide your producers with any verification that you may need but I am asking a favor. Would you be willing to share those two precious kittens on their page as the adoptable cats of the week? And would you mention that they could really use the public's help with donations? I don't know what you can or can't do but it felt good to volunteer and I want to make this special for them. Sometimes, even good people need help from other good people to make things happen.

Dear Ellen, I am on facebook and there is a site which thousands of people fallow. It is Little Bear, Deformed Legs. He is so precious and so loved by many. He made the front cover of a cat magazine. I think you will find this story very amusing, as it is, but initially it was not! About a month ago I was awakened by two police officers standing on each side of my be with flashlights shining on me. Apparently my cat (Sammie) had re-dialed a very close friend of mine at appoximately 4am. My friend saw that it was a restricted number (mine is unlisted) and she became worried, thinking something had happened to me. She tried to call me & the line was busy & she thought I was in some kind of troble so she called my sister. Neither one of them livesn nearby. So-o-o-o- no knowing what to do, my sister contacted the local police. I was awakened by police officers ( one on each side of my bed) with flashlights shining on me. They explained the situation, but there I was (in the middle of the night-about 4am) with 2 local police officers standing at my bedside- one on each side. This was all because my cat hit redial on my phone and panicked my fried. My cat, Sammie is amazing!!!!! I though this would be a funny story to share on your show......... IMAGINE WAKING UP WITH TWO POLICE OFFICERS AT YOUR BEDSIDE (They were very handsome) I was in a daze and asked how they got in. APPARENTLY I HAD LEFT A WINDOW UNLOCKED AND THAT WAS THEIR WAY OF ENTRY! I also have a dog (Murphy) & stated "Murphy, you didn't even bark!" One of the officers stated that Murphy was barking his head off. Apparently I did not hear her. I'm glad to know that I have a loving & caring sister & friend.

I know Ellen is an animal lover and I have about 50 cats that I've rescued over the years. My husband is facing Kidney cancer treatment and it means a lot of travel and treatments. The responsibility of all these cats is getting too worrisome and stressful but I feel that they deserve good homes. If there is any way you could help me find homes or a shelter to take them I would be very grateful! They are my extended family . Thank you for your consideration and help Jan
Please, I would love to get my crazy cat bag, on your show. Mickey Mantle my 11 year old, loves to go in bags everywhere. He never jumps out and he gives a huge smile to everyone. Not one person has ever seen a cat in a bag. Go to You Tube and click on Jamie and Mickey and you will see what I am talking about.

I think its time to take care and think about BIG CATS....I am talking about Lions . I came across a video and articles about a guy named "Kevin Peterson" . Please check it out ,he is located in South Africa he works and run a park for Lions,Hyenas.Look him up in Wiki or Youtube.Here's a link to that. Please do help him out in any way you can .Maybe Ellen can do a show with Lions ,outside the studio which would be good and exciting for a change.I admire you Ellen and all those staff making Ellens Show possible....
