Ellen, I watch your show daily via DVR, and I just want to give you a shout out.... HOLLA! You give so much and I just wanted to say thank you. This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and quiet frankly I thought that this past year has been that. My mother was diagnosed 6 years ago with Breast Cancer and like a trooper, she had her right breast removed. She took her meds for 5 years and was on her final month's dose when she received the bad news that she had Breast Cancer again. Since then, Surgery, Chemo and Radiation she completed it in April for her birthday. She has her good days and she has her bad days. June 23, we got a call we never expected, her oldest daughter, my sister, died of a heart attack. This makes the second child she has lost, the first one was under 1 year old. Never really recovering from the Cancer and all that comes with it, she has to deal with this loss. She puts one foot in front of the other and she keeps moving. I just wanted someone else to know what an extraordinary woman she is. I love my mom, she is my everything!
