It’s Sunday! And you know what Sunday rhymes with -- Hyundai. And you know what Hyundai rhymes with -- a big announcement about car giveaways! That’s coming up this week on my show.

Also, this week is the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My guests love to help me raise money for breast cancer research, but on Monday, Liam Neeson takes things to a whole new level.

Speaking of handsome men (and I almost always am), Zac Efron is swinging by to tell me about his new movie, “Paperboy”. I think he’s gonna be wonderful in it. He’s been delivering my paper for years.

If you’re planning on shopping at jcpenney this weekend, watch out! I’m taking over a jcpenney for the day. You can see everything that happens this week on my show, or on “Cops,” depending on how things go down.

From “Glee,” Lea Michele is here to tell me about the new season. I’ve seen the show, so I have two backup dancers and a synthesizer on standby in case she wants to tell me about it in song.

For all you fans of “Grey’s Anatomy,” Eric Dane is here to talk about his final appearance on the show. And for all you fans of Gym, Tanning and Laundry, the boys from “Jersey Shore” are here!

And I’m not the only star who’s gonna be dancing this week. Shawn Johnson and Gilles Marini are here with their dance partners to show off their moves from “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars”!

I’m also talking to four-time Academy Award nominee Annette Bening, the hilarious Rebel Wilson from ‘Bridesmaids,” Cheryl Hines, and get ready for performances from One Republic and Matchbox Twenty!

What a week! I can’t wait! Now I should go make sure Liam Neeson found his pants.

Ellen I watch you every day and I never miss an episode. You look just look like your mom. Your both pretty, and you cheer me up everyday when I'm sad and down. I am barely getting by and I have falling behind on bills and I can hardly afford rent, let alone putting food on the table. I really need your help Ellen. A car of anykind would really give me a boots in helping me getting to where I need to go.

Micky.

Hi Ellen, YOU are AMAZING!!!! Life is a SONG and I love to watch you DANCE. You are a breath of fresh air and I want you to know that you make me forget about all my problems when I watch your show. It's wonderful that you make sooooo many people laugh and that you are so generous. It is truly amazing that you are able to share with the WORLD your love for Music, and introduce us to the people that "move you". Your smile is infectious, I hope you know just how AMAZING "YOU" are and how you have changed the lives of your guests and touched the lives of viewers like me. I and my family have been through great Tragedy. I had a Breast Lumpectomy clear through to the chest wall, Im good now but it was scary. I had an accident, crushed my foot between two bumpers of two different cars in a parking lot, yes CRAZY. My husband had a fall from 16 feet in the air, (couldn't SUE anybody) he is a self employed Carpenter, NO WORKEY/NO MONEY. Our last new car was a HYUNDAI 2000 Sonata (No longer in good working condition). We haven't had a vacation in more than 5 years. Still trying to catch up with all the bills from the tragedy but the Bills seem to be running faster. See I learned that humor from you! It would be a Blessing and a Miracle to be the WINNER of a new HYUNDAI. If nothing else, I wanted you to know how AMAZING you are, and that you should CLONE yourself so that this World could be a happier place. XO The Downtown Brown Family

Dear Ellen my husband has a "95" year car he has to put a lot of miles on it running my daughter to Msourri for her divorce and we cannot afford a new car because we have two family on a one family income so if our car breaks down he wont say a word and will walk 5 miles one way to work plz consider him as a canadate for the car. he is a hard worker and a family man and will not ask anyone for anything he is always doing for other people that he never regrets doing it either. his number is 2703267342 if he is fortunate to win the car.

Hi Ellen,
Love your Show and You even more.
I would really like to WIN one of your Car Giveaways. I don't have a bad enough story to compare to others. But I have been w/ out Transportation for almost 6 yrs. now. I have 4 grandchildren and no way to get out and enjoy Life w/ them. My oldest Grandson came for a visit one night and on the way here he said, "Me-Maw, I worry about you all the time, for you are always going to the Dr. and never getting better. " And he said "I don't want you to die, because I want to see you forever!" Having a car would help me so much w/ my depression, as well as get to see my Grandchildren more often as well as have Fun days together. I Hope and Pray to be on your Show one day soon. Thanks Ellen, for this opportunity. You are truely a Blessing in so many ways.God Bless You too.

Ellen,

You are a great inspiration...
To people like myself.
You are a genuine person and theres never an alternative motive behind your actions...
Thank you, I love you for that.

When I realized you were doing car giveaways this week on you show,
It was like a ray of hope came into my life again. My parents recently purchased me a vehicle and I have only had it two months, it broke down the day after we I got it and was in the shop for over a month. The day I got it back it broke down again. Guess where it is now in the shop again. My dad is disabled and my grandmother lives with us due to her health. I am five months pregnant with a baby boy. The father dosent want anything to do with me or the child and refuses to help out with any expenses. I havent been able to work because of a high risk pregnancy. I went to the car lot today, and the owner will not even trade out on another vechicle, or fix the one I have. I dont know what i'm going to do. With all the doctor appointments I have and a new baby on the way...
Please consider me in your Hyundai giveaway!!

Dear Ellen, I have written you before about my situation but it has changed much for the worse and I am desperate. I am disabled from 2 car accidents and now bedridden (hips & knees need replacing, R leg several inches shorter than L, but they can't operate due to diabetes, AFIB, & many other medical problems). My roommate/caregiver went into hospital last week for long-term (renal failure, liver tumors, diabetes, bad foot wounds, etc.) & I don't know IF/when he will come home. I have NO car, need $8000 dental work but taxi=$90 round trip x at least 14 trips, and now I'll have no help. I really need a handicapped van but ANY car would be a blessing. Please-I have no friends or family left to help me. Love your show, humor, kindness & generosity-Love, Gini

ellen, of course life is consistantly testing us and nothing seems to go our way but I have hope..... I have recently been seperated from my wife of 18 years. I could not afford the house after she just up and left with my daughter who is 18 years old now, They moved out on a saturday last november and left me nothing but debt and our dog, who I love and take very good care of.. I was forced to lose my house and get a one bedroom apt. I believe that am am at risk of losing my daughters trust that I can help her to get through the next 3 years of college at Indiana State U . We took loans for the first year that she will be burdened with after she is succesfull hopefully. My mom just died 2 weekes ago and I have had a lot of expences with that , loss of work. I feel good about me as a person but at the sametime I have to ask myself, what did I do to diserve all of the negative things that have been happening to me. The #1 thing in my life is my daughter, who I would give my life for at any time if it would help her. She, Stephanie is a great girl with good morals but sometimes I worry about who she meets now that I am not in control of who she befriends . I also know that she loves where she is going to school and I want her to succeed and of course have a great life and give me some grandkids. I do not like to ask anyone for help because I can usually find a way to get it done. This time and it's just with my daughter in mind I need help. I cannot drive from chi twn to indy st because my car won't let me, so I, if I must go to see her I need to rent a car for at least 3 days which, in my situation is unaffordable at this time. I know there are plenty of people that need help these days but I really need to make sure my daughter gets a good education and doesn't have to go through what I have gone through as I chose to not go to college and started my own bussiness which folded about 2 years later. That's when I realized I should have gone to college and have something to back me up. THE MOST important thing in my life is my beautiful, smart, forgiving, and caring daughter. If you could help her in any way I would do anything I could to return the favor, plus I just think you are one of the nicest person I have had the pleasure of watching your show for at least 2 years and I now tape it as I get home from work too late to see it live. I love what you do and love who you are and wish you the best in everything you do. I also must say that your honesty and straightforward attitude which helps me to keep strong in the face of adversity, which seems to happen to me all too often. Go with God and thanks for the inspiration you have already gifted me with. Mark.....
